HOW DARE THEY!!!!!!

How Dare They play such insipid football.
How Dare They play such panicked football
How Dare They show skills that were bordering on amateurish at best
How Dare They display about as much intensity as a week old wet lettuce
How Dare They play in such a selfish and lazy fashion

How Dare They do these things now when we have all seen what they are capable of producing.

The lack of Mental and Physical toughness is now the Elephant in the change room.

Excellent post Cazzesman. Please ensure Ratts, the MC and all players get a copy.

Still absolutely livid at another disgusting display.

Out of our 5 losses, 4 have been very, very poor. Ordinary to say the least.

losses usually are - particularly if you expect to win them.

Oh for the days when we didn't expect to win anything!

with apologies to verbs

We are very weak mentally.
Harvey & North got into our minds during the week and it showed.
We need to address this.
I am over the fact we are so fragile and will not get ahead of myself with this team until such a time they show me they have fixed this issue.

ps. Setanta needs to go back for a spell ... this week! Time to give HENDO just as much time.

Couldn't even sleep well last night.

Still pissed

Friday night losses are the worst.

I was envisioning us in the top 4 going into the break (win last night plus next week against Freo and Freo lose to Saints). Looks like the players did the same.

We are so @#$%&! soft it isn't funny, will get our arses handed to us in the finals if we continue like this.

hello, new to this internet bollocks, but been having a laugh at the posts for a few weeks.
gutted about this weeks result, but even more gutted about peoples predictions of success for the future
please keep these opinions under wraps until we actually do something, the perfect way to jinks a side is by talking em up as happened this week.the only time to talk about top 4 is in september, the only time to talk about premierships is when chris judd is holding the cup aloft.my personal happiness is entirerly dependent on the fortunes of the the CFC,therefore i would apreciate it if you people would stop beating up our chances until the score is actually on the board.thanks go blues.

Hey there folks, I may be a little old school but what incenses me following a loss is what has changed from a respectful shake of the hands to a hi five catch up by 'some " of our football community. I saw one player post game shake one his opposition's hand with one of those "brother" type shake and then proceeded to have a 2 minute chat with laughter & what seemed to be "I'll see you in an hour for a beer".

There doesn't seem to be any hurt or disappointment in their faces. Small thing I know but collectively I reckon it demonstrates an attitude lacking in resolve to get the job done.

Poor poor form by Goddard has developed a ridiculous attitude. It's like he's trying to be tough this year but doesn't know how.

If only Goddard knew what he really looks like, he'd be very embarrassed.
Obviously, he looks at replays of himself and loves what he sees.
Given he increases his aggression and facial expressions of anger and fury (  ), he must love what he sees.
It's like starting with one great tattoo, receive a few compliments then proceed to cover the whole body in ink, without design in mind.

If I was earning $300K-$400K+ p.a. I wouldn't be too disapointed about losing either

Some might say it is due to a 'chip on both shoulders', but they are only my friends and relatives so what would they know?

If we can beat Geelong and Stkilda then the issue isnt talent its more attitude and it wasnt right vs Nth who had been revved up during the week.......their kids were first to the footy and our forwards applied no pressure to McMahon, Thompson etc who ran of their man and created for players up the field.
Nths best possie winners were their defenders which tells you how much pressure was applied by our forwards.....nil.
Wasnt happy with Gibbs, Murphy or Kruezers game...sure Gibbs and Murphy got some footy but for No 1 picks they didnt do much with it or impact much. These blokes have to stop waiting for Judd to lead the way and start doing it themselves.....Kade Simpson always is one of our best when the chips are down and I wish a couple fo our highly rated No 1 picks had his attitude and desire at times...

Hadley has made a low profile return to the team and I thought he did ok vs Nth and was a handy player along with Jacobs who continues to show he is our best tap ruckman and more than handy around the ground with his one grab marking and common sense use of the footy....nothing flash about Jacobs but he knows his limitations and is very effective IMHO.
Like to see one of Warnock or Hampson in the team this week and Kruezer used more up forward ...

sure I was disappointed with the game ... we were flat footed from the start.

putting that aside, we are a team in the making ... we seem to play better against better teams ... we also have been winning games lately without much conviction ... not surprised we fell in a heap ... setanta definitely need a break in the twos to get his mojo back ... anyway ... I'll take 7/12 anytime ... however, it would be nice to win three in a row .... any way ... we are a work in progress .... 2010 will be good to iron out the creases ... not fussed at all if we don't make the eight ... it's of no real consequence this year ... 2011, 2012 and 2013 is when we will be seriously back ...
