Could they possibly be watering all of the ground (auto sprinklers) to 'soften it up' making the shaded parts boggier than the rest of the sunny parts of the ground.
I can see that happening. :donk:

Maybe each game needs Tony Greig at the start of each game putting the key in the ground.

Soooo...the goldilocks factor...hmmmm :?

The @#$%&! dirty filthy filth play 14 games at the G (which includes their last 7) and ONLY FOUR at Etihad so that is probably why the bastards get less injuries than anyone else.

I am sick to death of the AFL pandering to those black & white filthy bastards

Massive increase in rotations have helped keep the pies injury rate low.

i agree. the maggies seem to be on top of this rotation thing. if new rules come in next season capping rotations i think they will feel it the most.

the other 15 teams need to just hold them off for one more year.

Where would people park otherwise; on the tracks at Spencer St? There's underground car-parking at the G.

I remember a guy from Laserlite saying their company wanted to put some clear panels in the roof of Etihad to let light in, when it was built, and they got knocked back because of 'the hothouse effect' would mean the grass would grow too fast and the cost of mowing was ironically very high.
I am no expert and I'm sure there's more to it, but that sounds kind of odd now.
