If they try for the tall forward line they will be playing into our hands like geelong did a few weeks back.

I wish we still had Koutafides and Andrew Mackay
Lucky we've still got Brett Thornton and Jamieson

I miss Hickmont the most. At least we still have Sentanta.

I don't miss wondering who we'd get with our #1 pick.

I will be impressed if we win by over 40.
No Glass should help.

Let's concentrate on a solid, hard effort from all and take the points.

Then get a few more players back from injuries and regroup to face a much improved Melbourne.

Club website saying that Mclean is a strong chance to come back this week. Walker apparently is too although i would imagine he will take an extra week. Houlihan could also be right, White is not only out with a knee but also back on the rookie list as Fisher is returning. Yarran doubtful.

That much is clear.

Stop taking the sheen off this thread guys.

OUT: White (inj/removed from senior list), Yarran (inj), Johnson (inj)

IN: McLean, Houlihan, Browne

This is almost tailor made for Kerr to come in and make an impact by opening up the game in the spaces of Subi with his foot skills, but I think he's not quite up to scratch for AFL pace just yet. Browne comes in with his added flexibility of being able to play in a number of midfield positions.

I know the whole stadium is facing the wrong way. When I was in year 10 I was doing work experience at a engineering company who were responsible for parts of the construction of Etihad. In the week I was there, there were concerns left right and center about the stadium. There were many arguments and the guy who was looking after me always told me it's going to be a major stuff up!

Anyway, lets hope its ordinary weather on Sunday

That would require common sense.... which is highly unlikely.

Poo. So Armfield, Johnson, White and Yarran out I presume.

Ins? McLean, Houlihan probably automatic ins if fit. Maybe Walker too if his collarbone comes up although given his history I'd err on the side of caution. Browne is probably next in line given Grigg and Hadley have been out for a couple of weeks. If we need another tall I'm a bit stumped - Austin probably needs a couple more runs in the 2's. Warnock in and Kreuzer up forward would release one of Setanta or Henderson to go back if we need it. Don't think Kreuzer is that quick off the mark - his endurance and willingness to hunt the ball are his strengths around the ground. Takes a good grab though.
