So White, Johnson and Yarran out injured.

Sounds like McLean, Houlihan and Walker (or otherwise Grigg) to come in.

I'm sure the Eagles would love Kerr, Glass and Masten playing so no excuses for us this weekend.

Sorry to pick you out on this one Bluey, but his name is McLean.

I am concerned about Yarran - any details how bad the injury is? Nearly the whole run and carry department is out at the moment.

I reckon Lynch will monster TBird, but we really don't have too many choices given our injury list and the addition of White to it.

Lynch is a dud that even TBird can cover. I`d go Armfield on Le Cras, Jamo on Kennedy, Russell on McKinley and Gibbs midfield/forward.

Big Quey is looking to get back in form. We must not under-estimate his worth. He will be dangerous, particularly around the 50m arc.

Out : Johnson (inj), White (inj), Yarran (inj)
In : Brock, Hoops, Wiggo

I doubt Tex will play this week, but it's good to hear he's recovering well and may be back for the Melbourne game.

Grigg & Hadley probably need to come back via the Bullants. Ideally, I'd prefer the same to apply to Brock, but I think we need him this week.

I've gone with Wiggo because at least he's hard at it and can play either end. He's also had very good VFL form this year as a lead up forward. Playing for his career, so we know he'll have a real crack. I think Austin's missed too much footy to be considered at this stage, same with Hammer.

The only other options are Browne, Davies and Kerr. One or more of these 3 might come in if Brock and/or Hoops don't come up...

And hope to see Fish back in action for the 'Ants this week!

I wish we still had Koutafides and Andrew Mackay
Lucky we've still got Brett Thornton and Jamieson

Glad that Dennis Pagan is no longer with the club

Drama Queens, this was our Elimination final team from last year.

This week will see 7-9 changes?

B: Shaun Grigg (Out), Bret Thornton, Aaron Joseph
HB: Ryan Houlihan, Paul Bower (Out), Heath Scotland
C: Andrew Walker (Out), Nick Stevens (Out), Jordan Russell
HF: Bryce Gibbs, Cameron Cloke (Out), Kade Simpson
F: Simon Wiggins (Out), Brendan Fevola (Out), Eddie Betts
Foll: Matthew Kreuzer, Chris Judd, Marc Murphy
Int: Andrew Carrazzo, Shaun Hampson (Out), Jeff Garlett, Dennis Armfield
Emg: Steven Browne (Out), Setanta O’hAilpin, Chris Yarran (Out)

This is more like what we will see this week

Carlton
B: Jordan Russell, Michael Jamison, Aaron Joseph
HB: Heath Scotland, Bret Thornton, Ryan Houlihan (IN)
C: Dennis Armfield, Brock McLean (IN) Bryce Gibbs,
HF: Kade Simpson, Lachie Henderson, Jeff Garlett
F: Matthew Kreuzer , Setanta O'hAilpin, Eddie Betts
Foll: Sam Jacobs, Chris Judd, Marc Murphy

I/C (from): Andrew Carrazzo, Simon Wiggins (IN), Mitch Robinson, Richard Hadley (IN),

Emg. Robert Warnock, Steven Browne, Joe Anderson (Out)

I would be very tempted to play Warnock, Kruezer and Jacobs.

Warnock and Jacobs to Ruck on Nats all day and Kruezer to Ruck rove and grind Cox in to the ground.

WCE don't have the same ability to put players behind the ball as Hawthorn. Same game plan beats us every time. Hawthorn, St. Kilda, Essendon*.

We need to run harder and kick long, Scotland can not find himself stuck in BP and looking for options.

Players who butcher the ball need to assess the situation better, this includes Judd. 1st quarter will be vital in setting the tempo. Gibbs needs to go forward as a marking option if Garlett and Betts fail.

This will go for the next few weeks as well.

Looking forward to the Kreuzer - NicNat battle.

Special K to lift for the occasion and with the skipper will lead us back to the winners list.

..you won't see it, or at least not a proper battle.. ..Krooz will be rucking against Cox.... ..ideally i'd have Hammer go against NicNat.. ..those are the ruck match-ups that suit us.... ..not sure if Hammer's fit enough, though it seems NN's fitness is suffering a bit as well but Jacobs has been in good form for us and will keep his spot i reckon..

I wouldn't be surprised to see Lynch dropped. This game is a big opportunity for Setanta and Hendo. Glass is their only decent tall back. The others are rubbish.
