That 500 increase may be the spike.

Damn, I'm just going to buy 3 Baby Blue packs next year. How cool are the bowl/knife/fork and teddy bear!!!! Beats a bloody membership cap hands down.

Am I the only one thinking we are being left behind again in the membership stakes to some of the big clubs that have easily reached 50K?

What do we need to do to build our membership to 45 to 50K+? Have we tapped into sources outside Victoria, or even Overseas?

It seems we are very middle of the road in terms of membership numbers in the AFL, and something that the filth and even the dawks seem to have mastered somehow. Most, if not all, clubs have 3 game packages now, the dawks have Tassie where it's believed around 10K of their members emanate from there, the filth are signing up their dogs and cats, but that ain't ground breaking as the dawks were doing that.

So what do we have to do as a club to attract new and unsigned members, other than win games?

Yes, we all anticipated the backlash after the Fev trade would impact membership numbers, but surely those individuals have mellowed since then emotionally, and can see it has been beneficial?

I reckon this is one of the key areas left for the current administration to focus on getting us to No.1 in the AFL, particularly given we are striving to do this on-field.

Interested in your thoughts and ideas.

Quick answer: NO.

But the steps towards ensuring greater membership in large areas have been outlined on TC so many times, and we all know that people at the Club read this site, and there's been nothing done to improve the areas where there are glaring deficiencies. Been put in the too hard basket.

It's definitely not the reason I buy a membership, but the caps this year are a massive lolz.

Membership figures don't tell the real story

But we already knew that.

+1 as of yesterday. Long time supporter but first time member. Only 3 game membership this year but probably look to an 11 one next.

Why don't we just introduce pet memberships like everyone else, that'll boost our stocks.

Was always going to happen. We lost the marketing battle when we traded Fev. Membership will increase next year.
