Arjen Robben is harder than our midfield at the moment.

I'll say it again and again, hit some blokes.

39 pts down at half time, should be more.

Unacceptable.

Very ordinary performance. Any credibility earnt has quickly evaporated.

People talking top 4 and premierships after last week. We'd struggle to beat Richmond today.

Percentage in trouble.

So flower unhappy

Do we believe this far out that we have the ticker to turn this around?

We are playing scared, both of contact and making a mistake. Guys are tentative, not taking cleanly and choosing the wrong option. A couple of the leaders' disposal has been appalling including Simpson and Judd. Need to lift plenty which I can't see happening. Hugely disappointing so far to state the obvious!

Qtr time we were still in it. Performance in the 2nd suggests we haven't.

Us: 200 possessions @ SFA efficiency because we won't shepherd and spread from the guy in possession.

Them: 41 tackles

That's the entire story of this match, make no mistake.

I still think there's an imbalance somewhere. We are incredibly susceptible to suggestion.

Nothing against these boys, but when Jacobs, Robinson and Thornton are your best players for the day, you know you're in trouble

Hawks came to play, Blues didn't. Hawks getting away with murder, but partly because the Blues are just looking soft and insipid and the umps can see that.

If as indicated we are down on the bench - un likely given the pace of the game.

People are fickle. So long as you weren't one of these people, this wouldn't be quite as disappointing. It's a disappointing performance, but it's trademark Carlton.

Everyone talks about crossing teams off lists, but it's this shellshock attitude and unwillingness to lift and sacrifice for the team that needs to evaporate more than anything else.

And that is the bigger issue.

We all had a nervy gut feeling about today.

And so far it has panned out that way. When the heat is on, and physicality is turned up we are still short.

Hope we can get it back to 20 points at three quarter time.

Debating if I should go home - it's torture to watch this. So disappointet - but after the Gibbs comments during the week I was concerned that we again were getting ahead of ourselves. Sick of this - the guys should be more mature then that.

We're not down on the bench?

Havent been able to match thier intensity all game. We know thats the reason we are copping a hiding so will have to lift that to keep it respectable but with men down its going to be tough.

We knew they were going to lose games before the season was out. This looks like one.

Hawks look to be back in business. Its impressive.

Just watching the game on tv.

When Judd is forced to kick back to the top of the defensive goal square and sets up our guy so that there forward marks over the top and kicks from 15 out it is a snap shot of the defensive pressure being applied, we need to be able work through that.

Our goals for the rest of this game should be to win next two quarters.
