Me too if possible please. Was helped out last week with the Port game; do I need to do anything different this week?

Thanks again.

Is there a reason we can't just post the link in this thread?

cos its a public forum where prying eyes can see the links and shut them down

keep them private

but can we cut down on the "reply all" private messages of thanks?

we dont all need 20 PMs saying jimmae is a legend etc etc

he knows it already

3.5 days since the live TSN2 telecast of the Carlton vs Port game here in Vancouver which I was unable to view due to volunteering at a school fundraiser, and still no match replay up on aussiesport.tv. Not happy.

It's finally on Headplant. I actually wrote to Aussie Sport to ask / complain about it, this was there response...

Quote:
Firstly please allow us to apologise for the delay is supplying the match highlights and full match replays.

We have been liaising with our Australian partners who provide the video content for the Aussie Sports site. They have been experiencing some technical issues ensuring that the video content is available for us to upload to our sites.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused but rest assured we are working to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

We fully expect the replays to be up in the site within 48 hours.

We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards

I've actually been having an ongoing correspondence with Aussie Sport. My computer has died and is being repaired, so I am using internet cafes. I reckon I am unable to see content from that site from 9 out of 10 computers, and if you are on Mac, forget it...Aussie Sports says you can't view it if you are using Mac. What kind of 'official AFL service' is this???

Sound like one that uses custom activex controls and WMP 10 or higher. Really, really amateur coding (although I can't do any better, I at least know where to research and learn how to do so...).

That's a token standard response Siegfried. The real issue is obviously that neither perform group nor bigpond give it much attention. All they need is automated, reliable and timely delivery of a relatively small number of files each week, it's easy to do and not rocket science.

Does anyone know why channel 10 don't show the time clock? It's just a tad annoying.. And also how crap is their commentary team? Got nothing on Channel 7's team.

If you could take Ten's special comments, and combine it with 7's play commentators, then pool all their cash and creative teams to make one broadcaster, then the footy coverage would actually be decent.

They do the 5 minute countdown thing for 'suspense'; always have?

Yeah they have always done that, but today's swans dockers game had absolutely no clock throughout the match and there was no mention of a malfunction by the commentators. I'm hoping it was just an error..

Looks like the same again this weekend. Absolutely "deplorable".

The networks really need to do something about this.

Two weeks in a row people up here cant watch the blues in action. :donk:

For SA folk, it's been brought to my attention that this game isn't live into Port Prie, Mt Gambier, Broken Hill, Loxton & Radelaide, but is in the rest of the state.
