also to be 2 players down, coming off a 5.5 day break and travelling interstate and win in that way is a supreme effort, geez we've come a long way :thanks:

Ah yep, I remember seeing that. Hopefully he's just copped a knock that jolted a nerve; certainly didn't look too serious.

Good running in the end. Poor mental application to the task early on would have costs us 4 points against a better side. Port fought valiantly but were undermanned.

Well done Blues. Ran them off their legs in the end. Did it the hard way, but that's a tough trip to make after 5 days break.

Selection will be interesting this week.

Fantastic win. Really gutsy stuff the players can draw on for the remainder of the year. Special mention to Chris Johnson. Thought he was pretty good today. Juddy,Simmo,Carazzo great. Murph,Setants,Gibbs v good.
Please AFL, no more Ch 7 covering the football at the next round of tv rights.

Austin -Anderson Browne for White
Hadley -Maclean- Grigg for Lucas
Hendo or Wiggo for Waite

I actually can't see how Waite can possible go for that. Shoulder tucked in, compared to Kennedy on Sylvia, and if it wasn't for the over-acting by Port bloke (should be charged!) nothing in it. I'll be spewing if he went for that.

Sounds like a great win, can't wait to watch the replay. We are really maturing as a unit.

Anyone know how serious the Houla hammie is? I have only seen it reported in this thread, it's not on the AFL website. Hopefully Sugar's hammie will be a blessing in disguise, gives him a breather that will help him later on as young players tend to run out of steam late in the season.

Surrey, unfortunately Waitey is absolutely gone. Will be lucky to get 2 weeks. I think Bateman got 3 for similar last week.

Bit of a weird comment.
3 outs always makes for a somewhat interesting team selection

I wish you were right but he got him with his elbow, and definitely drew blood. Best hope is for 2 weeks. Disappointing that one of our senior players was dumb enough to be sucked in to that.

These last two weeks has seen some of the best footy under Ratten's tenure as coach. Loved the way the boys dug deep. It should be said that Port Adelaide are not the same push-over team they have been throughout 2008-2009.

Worst telecast in years. And special comments, is it Ox? Besides stating the obvious consistently, he was wrong as often as he was right. Does this guy get paid for his comments or is it part of his gambling rehabilitation?

Would've preferred him to save it for Campbell Brown or Luke Hodge next week.

Campbell Brown might have something to answer at the tribunal also - head high tackle on someone.
