Percentage 89%, winning by only small margins. AAMI factor no big deal, probably more Blues supporters there than theirs.

We should be favorites, and rightly so. We've won 3 of past 4 at AAMI.

Ports results for the year and where the teams they played are on the ladder;

North Melbourne, won by 14 pts, sitting 11th
West Coast, won by 3 pts, sitting 13th
Brisbane, lost by 27 points, sitting 9th
Geelong, lost by 95 points, sitting 3rd
St Kilda, won by 10 points, sitting 5th
Adelaide, won by 23 points, sitting 15th
Essendon*, won by 3 points, sitting 12th.

So they've had a pretty easy draw so far, only playing 2 side in the current 8, and one of those side smashed 'em.

This is a game where there are no excuses for not beating them. Ports results have hardly been impressive considering who they have played.

Ratts said the boys pulled up great after the saints game which is great. He noted we had about 120 rotations in order to keep the boys as fresh as possible.

The Village Cinema event is a nice idea but who'd pay $99 to watch Ch7's crappy quality coverage in a comfy chair with a few nibbles???? Not me thank you very much!

120 rotations

That's fantastic.

To do that it must be a very well calculated coordinated effort by the off field staff.

Obviously have the depth on the bench to rotate the stars and keep them fresh, let alone keep the opposition guessing.

We have come a long way in the last 2 years.

Made a late decision to head over for this match. First time in Adelaide and possibly my last :yikes:

Looking forward to giving it to the Port Supporters

Anyone know what I can do for a few hours in the morning on Sunday to kill some time? Staying in the CBD.

Even though it is the city of churches, if you are staying in the city; there is a little laneway/street that runs off Rundle Mall down the hill called Hindley St. You go there and you will find plenty of entertainment. Suggest that you visit the chemist before you do though!!

Alternatively I would suggest that you pull the doona over your head, because it is such a depressing place. You might even find Mrs Palmer and her twin sister (although she is a little backward) just waiting to cuddle you.

Looks like no change to the lineup this week. The only player on the bench from last week's game that is at all vulnerable is Johnson, but I'm sure he'll get another week, he wasn't so bad last week (anyone know his TOG last week? Didn't appear to be very much).

No change for me.

Only possible change Robinson for Johnson, but Johnson did enough to deserve aoher week.

Leave Hendo in the 2s for a few weeks, he was well out of sorts and 1 week out is not enough

That's an interesting deal from Village, if I was going to be in the city I would possibly go, but I'll be limping around a soccer ground somewhere in the burbs. I wonder how many Thai sausage rolls and chilli dogs, or parts thereof will be spat across the seats and towards the screen, possibly whenever Chad Cornes or Choco Williams hove into view!!! They better have some Village staff skilled in the use of the Heimlich Maneuvere ready in the wings to dislodge that vast gastronomy of delights from the throats of angry supporters.

Shame they didnt pick Cloke to play on Setanta, we'd all be cheering this time if he kicked his @rse!!! (figuratively, not literally obviously)

There's playing funny buggers and then there's playing funny buggers. I'm not sure whose eyes Ratts was trying to pull the wool over, but Hadley and Grigg were always another fortnight away!

As for the team - no to Robbo. I thought his game last week for the 'Ants was average and he needs at least one more. I actually think he's going to struggle getting back into the lineup. Still too many question marks over his tank, ability and where exactly he plays...not a smart footballer yet.

No Cloke..............damn!
No Tredrea...........good...can't stand his head.
No Krakouer..........handy for us...a loss of pace for them.

It looks like Houla has a tagging role on their CHB and driving force Chad Cornes

Big chance for Thornton on Westoff to show his aggression and ability to play direct footy. I thought TBird was avearge last week.
Simon White playing 4 games in a row..well done fella.

Even with Bower and Walker missing there's a lot of pace in the Blues line up.

We have to win this!!!!! Have to!!!!!!

Go Bluebaggers...another 10 goal win please.
