It is kind of ridiculous that 4 of the first 7 games are on Thursday or Monday :S

The AFL should make the filth play in Darwin on a Monday night just for fun

A small corner of today's Herald Sun said the AFL have committed to a 'traditional' fixture from next season and beyond.

Mondays and Thursdays are gone.

I dont care if Carlton played at 1am in the morning, l would still be there.

IF you love the club, be there. Players need supporters at the game.

except if you live in Qld, where FTA won't show the game until 1135pm..

what a load of crap, the AFL just let this continue to happen

Won't go -- too tired after work and hate driving in traffic from SE subs. Mondays are always a biatch and usually exhausted after 5pm. Would have gone to this game even on a Thursday night as Friday no one cares and everyone starts to wind down. Monday night is dumb I know a few people who are going , but they hate the idea of Monday night footy. Workplace in a hot office is far too demanding these days clients are extremely more demanding than five yrs ago ; everyone is short staffed. Will be too tired and will be a sleep by 9pm.

Maybe the person who started this thread works for the HUN and is trying to spark a story saying Carlton fans are boycotting tonites game :P

A bit odd for a Carlton fan to be posing a question of boycotting a game of football, because the club plays on a Monday nite.

Same with Sydney.

Wonderful "commitment" by the 'broadcasters'
