You lot have it too easy.
I will have to get up at 0330 on Monday morning just to listen on the net. And I'm happy to do it. My membership doesn't get me much over here.
There are hundreds of us out there who have no live TV, no delayed TV and would kill to go on Monday nights if we could.
Stop your wingeing and enjoy what you have got, just like we do.

Poor Aussie parents....$9k baby bonus, subsidised childcare, extendented materneity and paternity leave on the horizon, and a heap of benefits most of the worlds parents don't get.
Now you are complaining that the footy doesn't fit in with parenting responsabilities.

Christ you probably want Juddy to come over and give your Mrs a back rub once a week

Anyhooo...

As for me...if I can go..I will...rain hail or shine....any day of the week...any time.....and

Louie the Lip used to say if they played a game on the Moon we'd find a way to get there.....
It's not that we wont go to watch the team where ever and when ever they play.....
It's whether we like the fact that they are playing Mon night
and I think that C Ling said it best on the Footy Show..." I don't mind Monday Nights as long as We aren't playing!!"

Hopefully you won't have to understand one day.

If there's footy in Victoria I'm there. Even on the odd occasion I venture interstate. I'm not happy about the Monday night game but you do what you gotta do for the love of the game, eh?

Anyone that has a kid in this country because of a $ incentive is an absolute moron...and a govt that tried to stimulate birth rates with $ rewards is just as moronic.

    ........ are you one of those meat heads that applauds the poorer and less educated miority groups in our community (and some single women) that use these incentives as a money spinner

Go visit some of these poor families that are encouraged to be baby factories, with immigrant wives staying at home looking after a horde of kids, while dad is out and about picking up chicks with the welfare $.

Yeah I'm rapt to be paying taxes for all those 10 kid families in Coburg and North Altona, whose mum's aren't even allowed to go to the shops unescorted, and who's dads are finding some other way to rip off the system.

Yeah baby bonus is great.....we're gonna end up with a whole lotta kids from lowest social/economic classes who haven't had the rescources assigned to them being utilised for their benefits. And the cycle of bashing Indian students will continue out west and in the Nth suburbs.

So go have a kid for $9k HB....it suits you

Understand what braniac ?...a better supporter contest?.....oh my if I was Dave Hughes you would be getting a new drill this week. :smoking:

Whats the relevance?......if there is a game of footy scheduled on Monday should I start calling for boycotts becoz ir doesn't suit my parental duties. 1 game for the whole year on a Mon night just makes the AFL thoughtless and clueless :screwy:

But you seem to only think about yourself anyway.
What about people with heavy workloads on weekends incl Fri night.
Maybe just maybe a day of footy outside the w/end might suit them ( apologies to the all important mon - fri working parents who can't cope with a mon night game )

And if you don't think Aussie parents get a lot of govt assistance compared to the majority of the world's population you have just confirmed your ignorance of how most of the world lives.
