well apparently Bower is out. We are not too tall, most of our tall players can play small too. The only 2 that can't are Kreuzer and Jacobs.

I think the changes are with full knowledge that a tall, bower, will go out.

Johnson will play. Bower out injured

Is it a niggle as someone else has suggested, or a 4 weeker as the other thread has suggested?

If it is 4 weeks, I will not be happy if the club basically lies to its supporters like it did last time. Opposition clubs will know whether Bower is playing or not. The only people left in the dark are supporters, which I don't like.

Thornton up forward??

Better than him slowing down our rebound out of defence.

I agree.
Good to see Austin playing for the ants, he'll be putting pressure on our defenders for a spot soon, so they need to perform.

You know what's coming...

If there's one team I didn't want Thornton playing against it's the Saints

Its clear that Ratten is going to have us playing defensively. Playing right into their hands.

Did he not watch the bulldogs game, they chipped around and this is why they got unstuck.

Did he not read Leigh Matthew article that you need to take them on and run through the middle ?

Argh I give up. This is why we never beat them. Thornton is the last person I would have put in against St Kilda. Slowness out of back line.

Get ready for a shellacking. :yikes:

I actually think that's pretty close to our best team.
1AW and Hammer to come in...that's about it!
1AW for Thornton, Hammer for Jacobs.
