Not much better than that Sombrero. ALthough I haven't seen the game, it seems like we were lucky to hang on in the first quarter, were obliterated in the second quarter, played 20 great minutes in the third, and have been well beaten in the last.

So that one 20 minute top stint, and one quarter of hanging in there. Otherwise, well beaten.

A word on coaching / selection.

The reason why Ratten has been reluctant to move Jamison onto Dawes, was because he was doing another number on Medhurst.

Thing is, if you are going to go into a game knowing that one of your key defenders is going to play on a small, then surely you need to have another tall in case something goes wrong. Ratten's reluctance to move Jamison onto Dawes (understandable given he was killing Medhurst) exposes the flaw of not playing an extra tall for flexibility.

His swapping of White and Henderson came 25 minutes too late.

We flooded for most of the last qtr! I can't figure out why we did that..... But it's the reason we got flogged. Hence why we had so many turnovers because we had nobody to kick to up forward leaving us to piss fart around in the centre and cause a turnover.
