To see the three indigenous boys get interviewed post match instead of having to see Fevola post match scratching his nuts..

Those boys are tight and they will be around for a long time...

It was great to see.

When the interviewer asked them "who is the leader of the group"

Eddie was quick to reply "i'm the leader of this group" and all three laughed. I think its a great sign for things to come.

Best thing we did was get rid of Fevola and Ratten deserves his due as he has stuck to his plan and the devolopment of alot of our boys stems from the faith and relationship they have with Rats.

Go Blues bring on the Pies!!!!

when one of the trio has the ball is a fun game to try and guess which of the other two will get hit on the chest

Thats havoc for any defense!

A midfield is A grade our Defense is solid and young and our forward line is now dangerous when the ball goes in they all work hard to keep it there unlike that big lump that would give up on the play when the ball didnt hit him on the chest.

Great day for the club yesterday gives everybody confidence that we are going in the right direction.

The 3 of them seem to make each other better also which is the best part. You watch the replays closely and all 3 are always on the lookout for one another.

And even though they all play a similar style of game they do have different attributes. Eddie is a fantastic rover. Reads the play fantastically well and will swoop on any crumbs up forward. Yarran is a slightly bigger body, can take a good overhead mark and his set shot routine and form is much better. And Garlett - he seems to be a mixture of the two. Has a real sense of where the goals are and reads the play well. But also for a small guy his overhead marking isnt too bad and his set shot conversion quite good too.

It appears Lappin deserves some credit for pushing for the 3 of them to play - according to one of the papers.

Not really, it was more a question of fitness and fitness levels that saw only two of them in the team at a time last year.

Our problem last year was we had a big fat arse getting in the way at FF. The world would collapse if we dared try something different. Now these 3 brothers are running uninhibited and proving hard to match up on, not only inside the forward 50, but up the ground as well.

I wholeheartedly agree that they make each other better. The sum is greater than the parts ... or something like that. They seem to be really enjoying playing together which is a key for these guys.

It is an interesting dynamic. There is an obvious desire to set each other up for goals. It is like a game within a game.

We just need to be careful that their vision does not become too blinkered and they ignore good options from other forwards.

One more thing that is special about this trio is that they are all long accurate kicks and can all slot a goal from outside 50. I just wish Eddie would take the set shot more often instead of doing his twitchy two-step until the umpire calls play-on.

Geez we looked fast with the 3 of them running amok!!!

This guy's goal from 20 rows back in the right forward pocket on his right foot was SPAIRSHUL!
