holdling up 10-12 minutes of sustained crows pressure before simmo scored on the quick counter attack, about a minutes before 3 qtr time.

Yep.

That has my vote. I've seen it a few times. It's really magic to watch.

I thought I was living in the 70's one time, with the play starting with one Geoff Southby, to Doull, to Armstrong, to Keogh, to Jezza- GOAL!

It was all really that easy. No one got hurt. Beautiful to watch. Fantastic end result.

Classic.

No bites for the umpire's double 50m penalty, then?

Actually, I thought it was in the first minutes after Juddy's goal when Mc Leod came in to give him the hard-man bump, Juddy stopped in his tracks and McLeod just sailed on past looking like an idiot

For me it was a very 'unflashy' bit of play by Matty Kreuzer in the 3rd quarter. Late in the quarter after both sides had failed to score for well over 20 mins, there was a ball up in the back pocket with Kreuz taking the ruck. Not sure if he got the tap but Blues got the clearance and what followed was a string of handballs under extreme pressure as we worked the ball along the boundary thru half back flank and wing. In that passage of play Kreuz had 4 possessions after the tap I think - he just kept running in support and providing linking options. The play ended with a kick to one of the brothers at hff and a centering kick to Simmo who goaled on the run from about 40m. Kreuzer's willingness to work hard was the reason we broke the deadlock. The guy is a champ.

Just noted that this was the pre-amble to the simmo goal that thegezman mentions above (after soaking up plenty of Crows pressure)

I also loved the Garlett tap back to Yazz. We have to keep playing the 3 boys together - a nightmare for opposition defenses!

I agree that was very funny.

I also really liked Robbo's 'body-slam' on Bernie Vince in the first quarter (we may have even gone on to get a goal in that piece of play). We haven't show a lot of agrression over recent years. Love to see our players with the intent and capacity to hurt opposition players.

We have been too nice - loved Robbo's aggression at the player!

Loved that also. Judd and Houla were then running and bumbed into each other.

Some great nominations here.

I'd like to add Warnock's chase on Maric on the wing. Maric got around him, but Warnock persisted, knocked the ball down when he handballed and ended up with a holding the ball free kick.

"Houlihan crashes the pack."
The commentators must have almost choked on their pies having to call that!
