I watched the Ants play on Saturday and Hammer wasn't playing. Does anyone know whats the deal?

Whats the latest with Bower? I just hope he is back before we play the scum next week.

Carlton Injury List
Mark Austin (groin) – test
Paul Bower (leg) – test
Brad Fisher (knee) – 7-8 weeks
Brock McLean (hip) – test
Rhys O’Keeffe (hip) – 1-2 weeks

Is it just me or has that injury list (apart from McLean) not changed for weeks?

Are you insinuating that the medical staff are actually injuring the players just to keep them on the list??

In BF a thread related to the Ants game, the poster was talking to Hammer at the game and was told by Hammer that he was up to 2 months away with various ailments which are being attended too.

I'm missing him. I'm a BIG Hammer fan.

He's not on the injury list.
He's not training.
He hasn't been disciplined.
He is attending the club daily.
He has attended 2 Ants games.
He's supporting his mates.
He's a hot athlete.
He will be a hot footballer when those marks start to stick.

Can't wait for him to put pressure on spots before the finals.
Can't wait till he breaks into the team as a winman

You should practice more, you'll find your aim improves.

According to Dr Jim he was ready to go 2 weeks ago!
I suspect he doesn't want to play for us anymore or he's signed with GWS.

Not such a concern at this stage as we're pretty flush with ruckman at the minute.
Still better to have him fit though so he can be putting pressure on the other ruckmen to either perform or lose their spot.
Wonder if he slots straight into the best 22 when he is fit??

I was the one that spoke to him at Visy Park at the first Bullants game and he confirmed that he could not get his body right and was out for 2 months.
