This thread is a bummer.
Almost as depressing as Kelli Underwood's call today.
Is she a Crows fan by any chance?
I'm off to stockpile for ww3..or is that 4...

No, the question is why you didn't forsee us being 2-2 at this stage of the season.

Answer is, we have only beaten the 15th and 16th place team on the ladder...

Real test in next 3 weeks.

The question of 2 and 2 or 1 and 3 is answered on a different thread.

OK - You go with what you see at the time - but acting against this is free will - not of one person - but of many people - which can also change things from any point beyond the point that a static prediction is made.

Football teams are a wonderful manifestation of this.

There are a number of different possibilities and outcomes - all of which exist at the same time. - but only one of which we will experience - based on collective free will that can pop up in people's heads and be acted upon at any time.

Often I list and rank these in order of probability - But I never tell people about this..

To suit the mentality that exists in the world - I only make a static prediction and change it gradually over time..

This is to suit what most people demand - which is usually only one of two things - Either infallability - or a suspension of belief. That is up to them..

With small things - such as football matches - events can turn on a 5 cent piece - so it is a question of being as close as you can be to the pin.

But with other more substantive things - such as world events - it is easier - because they turn much more slowly and the consequences of choices that governments and political figures make are deeper - making free will at an individual level - if it is exercised - far less effective and far less able to change the overall course of events.

Thats ok.

J&K, blue4, prelim99 and headcutter won't admit they were wrong either.

If you want a mea culpa - Then I am happy to admit that my static prediction of 1 and 6 was incorrect.

But this doesnt mean that I haven't been having other feelings about alternative possibilities during the week - like 2 and 5 being a reasonable result after a static prediction of 1 and 6 was made on TC..

So lets see how wrong I am after round 7 - Because this is why I hesitate at this point in admissions of being incorrect..

I am still quite concerned that the St Kilda match will be a bad loss for us..

Wrong about what?

That Ratten is a shit coach?

One game doesn't make them wrong.

Just like it does not make them right.

Let's wait and see.

Lets face it most of us are concerned we could get done over by the team who has lost the least games over the last 12mths, but that doesnt make any of your gobbledegook correct.

You havent got any clearer idea than the rest of us, and to use personal free will as a "get out" clause for being wrong is childish. You either see into the future or just make stuff up, what footballers choose to do with their 'freewill' during a game shouldnt change that!

Oh, I forgot to add, what if we win 1 of the next three? are you wrong then or just shortening your odds at picking a loss from the other games?

You should be worried about your reputation because we are going to beats the pussies and give the filth a footballing lesson. As for the Saints who knows, we might be on a roll then.

Go Blues!!!!

I see hoverboards , power laces, self drying jackets, flying cars, lawyers have been abolished and the weather service is really efficient but the same can't be said about the post office.

Winners are grinners - but we might not have beaten much by beating Adelaide - especially an Adelaide as inaccurate as they were...

Have a look through the team sheets and tell me how different their line up was to round 22 last year. Today they were on average 2 yrs older than us and 45 games more experienced.

Sure they are out of form, but not much has changed for them since they pants us last time, and dont under-estimate the home ground advantage. They will beat some good teams this year, hows that for a prediction????

If we had the hoodoo in the back of our minds last week, we surely overcome one today and that should be applauded rather than shitcanned. Ratts also had a good day in the office, and Neil Craig is no mug in the caper. They even had an extra coaching box

I always thought that was a very thin book given the number of sports results in it
