Go Blues!!

Good win. We had a lot to prove today and while the second half was scrappy I think we tightened the game up and did what we had to do.

Going for the kill and putting teams away will come with time.

Should have won and did win - good to see.

Thought Warnock did well today and will only get better

liked White's game and I think Lucas is a ripper - how many possies did he get today?

we an have Yazz, Betts and Garlett in the same side

We win by 48 points, and lets lap it up blueboys as its been 6 long years and one of our hoodoo clubs is checked off the list.

The biggest positive in a 48pt win is Lucas and White ... sensational!

... So is it no Judd, no Carlton?

take the win, some good individual efforts.
White's and Jamo's spoils were some of the 1% we have been lacking...

Good point re Warnock...although we know less of him than 1AW both really need some time to find their feet after being out of footy for so long...Walks stepped up today and 206 we hope will do the same..

206 followed up really well today tackling.

Some of his tapwork can be iffy, but Im prepared to wear that while he gains his touch.

Great to finally beat the Crows. Heard one of the commentators mention that a Carlton player is related to Buddy someone from Hawthorn, didn't catch any names though

White looked good, loved the diving spoil in the last, Lucas looked good too.

Relieved more than anything. So good that Adelaide is out of form.

Some points about the game:

Good work ethic.

If Adelaide kicked a bit straighter it would have been tough.

We still went too wide.

We need a tall who can take a mark inside 50. ( Hopefully Levi matures quickly)

We won because of some individual efforts.

Well done Chris Judd.

If we don't play a lot better ... we will get ripped by Geelong.

Just a cracking result after last week's rubbish effort.

I still think our biggest weakness is mental toughness and hopefully Ratten and his cohorts can work on this. It was our mental ineptitude that cost us last week, and being critical, it was the same that cost us a 10 goal + win today.

Overall, though, very happy with the team's response after the Essendon* embarrassment.

Rich can kick it to Fev all he likes, we have Yarran who is having a great second year.

Lucas looks pretty settled at AFL level already, still early days for him, or course, but so far I'm rapted with his recruitment.

Erm, Lachie Henderson, anyone, no superstar just yet but is already showing a great willingness to work hard off the ball and like most big men needs miles in the body and games for experience. Mark my words, we will get great service out of this guy, anyone who reckons we won't is just kidding themselves. Hendo knows the meaning of team football.

White was good, as noted by many. Finally some depth is building in our KPP defenders. We might continue to struggle against taller, tougher bodies for a while yet, but the signs are pleasing.

All the pieces are falling into place, or at least, you can see them coming (pardon the pun), our biggest issue as I see it is the ability between our ears. Tougher opponents than we played today will continue to trouble us.

GO BLUES!!!

I just think the presence of Judd in the side makes a world of difference to the rest of the team.

Well done guys, good win.

Lucas was good today, and really like White. Thorton might struggle to return.

Now the real test begins with the next 3 games, Geelong, Collingwood & St.Kilda.

Yep, and he's starting to learn about second efforts, too. Of course, Kreuzer is a provides a great example of what a big man can do around the stoppages. 206 won't ever have the class of Special K, but so long as he tries as hard that's all we can ask.

Another sign we need to work on our mental strength. At least we are in the box seat™ while we work improving that aspect.

If I can play devil's advocate.

We would not have won if an ageing, undermanned, unfit (Tippett and Dangerfield) side had kicked straight. Most of those shots at goal were easily gettable.

We are still a one man team. Juddy comes back and is best on ground. Would we have won without him. Debateable.

Juddy is still being asked to do the inside, outside, and everything else work.

Did anyone notice we still have the greatest difficulty in clearing the ball from a kickin.

But we did win.

After saying all that, I watched the Bullants on TV and thought Casboult played well as did Waite. Interesting that Thornton was playing forward.

Fantastic win.
Great to see Walker play so well, happy to have Judd back.
Warnock was good, especially his second efforts, Lucas was great (pity he will get pipped for the RS nomination by Nitnat.)
White got better as the game went on. Murphy was Murphy, our new little mosquito fleet worked well together. Dont Betts, Yarran and Garlett look out for each other.
Very happy.
Go Blues

Good team effort today, one thing I did notice was the Joseph doesn't seem to be himself at the moment. Hopefully he is setting him self for G.Ablett next week.

The impact of Judd can be seen in one stat.
The past three games MM had 2,2,1 marks. In this games he had 15 marks alone.
Judd makes everything better

We beat a team that was shit

We beat a hoodoo

It was a great results and full credit to Ratts for his change up in the forward line and faith in the youngsters Lucas and White.

Lets display that same intensity and application against a good side now.

We beat the pedestrian Cats late last year, next week they will be coming for us.
