Come on KK, don't get cocky yet....

umpires, too scared to walk off at half unless they paid every single free kick possible.

Good effort, keep it up boys, run it out and thrash these twats.

Sick to death of guys jumping up to take a mark on the end of a handball, it slows them down and leaves them flat-footed.

That was a great def effort too. Good desperation.

Hendo has been alright so far, again, not in our best, but making a solid contribution.

Drawing a tall defender and making space for the other forwards. Doing his job so far.

I thought Kreuz spent a lot of time of that quarter, was worried he was injured and hey presto....he pops up on the wing with the ball.

The free against Walker was a disgrace.

Last week Yarran chases and the umpire guesses and gives the benefit of the doubt to the player with the ball.

This week the imbecile guesses that he threw it.

These hacks have become even more laughable.

This is a defining moment for us - do we bury them?

I hope so, so far we have got as much as we could hope for out of these guys, great to watch.

Fair point, but the scoreline show's we're a far better side than we showed last week, even with a depleted opponent.

If we keep holding the ball up to slow the game down we may well be!
We play our best footy when we attack.
I just hope they're not instructed to do it. Just bury a team FFS!

Totally agree Mark J ... why the f*ck hold the ball up and cause a turnover, ridiculous ... but can't complain, we're smashing them!

We need to give it to these scumbags, 6 years without a win against them ... makes me mad thinking about it!

Somebody pls give Ratts some credit for smart match ups and team balance. We are running off their talls which is working really well.

Looks like we are concentrating on every possession...they are obviously smarting from last week & rightly so.

Anyone still banging on about Daniel rich should just look at that smooth left footer in the first qtr.

Dangerfield is a good player but gee his kicking for goal lets him down.

But yeah, holding the Crows to 3 goals in a half is a great step thus far. Adelaide are still winning enough clearances to have me not relaxed just yet, & I hope the fwd line can hold up this half, but well done team on reacting properly from last week.

Ahhhh how good is it to see Juddy back in the side!!

Lucas looks really good, will be a ball magnet.

but was kellie underwood told just now to hold her notepad up to hide her bulging stomach in her shirt?

that was really weird and she appeared to become really concious of it

i understand this tempo football, but not when we have absolute complete control in all areas of the game and are possibly 1 to 2 goals away from putting the nail in the coffin.

Im pretty sure that everytime we've tried to slow the game down late in a quarter this year, we've given up a score to the opposition, including late in the second today. And even against the tigers.

Other than that an excellent half of football. no passengers! awesome stuff

The tempo tactic will win us games in coming years. We just have to get better at it. I agree its frustrating.
The players skills and intensity really drops off at about the 18min mark of each quarter due to them being stuffed. If we try to attack chances are they will score especially once their full ground press is set. Tempo-ing things up is a good tactic if done well. Practice makes perfect.

HTNOTH - it's got me figged why they aren't instructed to tap or smack the ball forward if they have to jump for it. It almost always ends in poor disposal or TO.

much better coming out of defence without thornton holding it up and spinning around then propping and then kicking sideways

QFT

White looks so much more natural coming out of defence. He looks forwards, rather then sideways.

I hope he does enough to hold his spot.

Very pleasing 2nd quarter there, much better to watch.

We do sometimes look slow with our ball movement, but you can see they are trying to keep possession and create opportunities. Working okay today, but will need to sharpen our reaction time and decision making skills. Sometimes it might also be better to make a decision and execute rather than remain indecisive. Better to take a chance than do nothing (maybe).

Lots of guys playing well, esp in 2nd qtr, but rapted with White and Lucas. They're not dominating or anything, but are adapting to senior footy very nicely and don't look outclassed or out of place at all.

For example in the 2nd quarter when Russell took the game on down the corridor rather than just going back and waiting for the Crows to zone up.

I reckon Lucas is going to be a classy player. White is also looking the goods.

Don't forget that the Crows should be a lot closer. Absolutely woeful kicking.

Thing is, the boys need to be told that this is the standard now if they want to be a top team. You can't just cruise in games and occasionally lift to this standard after a shocker.
We know they're capable. they must mentally tune into this mindset week in week out like the good sides.

Tip toeing down the wings is not direct footy TBB...I reckon the less we worry about our opposition the better we play....we should just focus on our own game..
