Where are the "We're going to be 1-8", and "We're as bad as Richmond" people today?

Holding the ball isn't what it used to be grro. Don't assume they are playing tempo footy.

Yeah well done blues, good exciting finessing footy in that half. If we did this last week we'd have been 100 points in front of the scum at half time.

Modern footy = :screwy:

Great half, just hope we can keep it up.
I thought the umpiring was bad last week, that free agains Walker was a joke and then the two 50's just topped it off.
Everyone contributing, love Yarran.

Holding the ball in the air isn't the issue.

Well done Blues, its hard work but we're digging in.

No passengers out there for us today.

Lucas looks a player.
Walker playing to his potential.
Yarran will be a gem.

If we keep holding the ball up to slow the game down we may well be!
We play our best footy when we attack.
I just hope they're not instructed to do it. Just bury a team FFS!

Harrassing the opposition really well causing turnovers.

I like the look of white and able is very good also.

Very pleasing 2nd quarter there, much better to watch.

We do sometimes look slow with our ball movement, but you can see they are trying to keep possession and create opportunities. Working okay today, but will need to sharpen our reaction time and decision making skills. Sometimes it might also be better to make a decision and execute rather than remain indecisive. Better to take a chance than do nothing (maybe).

Lots of guys playing well, esp in 2nd qtr, but rapted with White and Lucas. They're not dominating or anything, but are adapting to senior footy very nicely and don't look outclassed or out of place at all.

I think White has done some nice things. Great to see him in action after all the talk about him. Love the attacking running forward line. Walker is playing well after that kick. Judd is dominating

Another enjoyable quarter. We still tire at the end of quarters but i cant fault the boys efforts so far this week.
Russ always using the corridor would please many. He really opens up the game. Walker was better that quarter apart from the brain fade for the fifty.

Need to win the 3rd to make sure of this one.

That was a great def effort too. Good desperation.

Hendo has been alright so far, again, not in our best, but making a solid contribution.

much better coming out of defence without thornton holding it up and spinning around then propping and then kicking sideways

Walker much better that quarter but needs to know his limitations.

Great play from JR at HB where he took a risk and it resulted in a goal - better than bombing it down the line. That's why Bower is so important too, takes the risk and as Bomber Riley says, movement creates movement.

Judd contested work at the stoppage led to the Scooter goal.

Kick from Kreuzer inside 50 at HF was terrible - give it off to a runner.

i understand this tempo football, but not when we have absolute complete control in all areas of the game and are possibly 1 to 2 goals away from putting the nail in the coffin.

Im pretty sure that everytime we've tried to slow the game down late in a quarter this year, we've given up a score to the opposition, including late in the second today. And even against the tigers.

Other than that an excellent half of football. no passengers! awesome stuff
