Did not say I want him back...I'm just interested to see how he goes in a different enviroment surrounded by professional people

The comment wasn't directed towards you J&k, in fact, I think you make a valid point. It will be interesting to see how a change of environment will affect him as a player.

More towards posters who constantly bring him up after wins or losses and try to speculate how Fevola would have played in the match.

No worries mate...the only reason I brought him up was that I would really like our club to become much more professional on all levels as I am concerned the lack of professionalism may delay the development or hinder the development of our list.

Time will tell, but judging from Brisbane's game on the weekend, when did we ever see Fevola mark in the square and unselfishly handball it off when he could have easily kicked the goal himself? It happened on a number of occasions in their game against Port. The change of professional environment you mentioned may have already had an impact on him. It was quite well known that Brisbane wouldn't have a bar of selfish play, but marking in the square and giving the hands off seems quite strange, particularly considering the player in discussion is Fevola.

A mate of mine was wondering the same thing about Fev.....that perhaps he carried our forward line in the same way Carey did at North......interesting thought but......he's gone and we have to change tack.....and quickly.

Rewatching the game. I cannot for the life of me understand all of the negativity directed Walker and Armfield's way. Up until half-time I can only see one mistake each made with neither resulting in goals. This is by far and away no more and in some cases less than the others.

It's the poor disposal overall and the terrible lack of clean hands. I have never seen Betts mark so poorly two weeks in a row. In fact, last week against Brisbane he barely marked anything and again against Essendon* the same rang true. Incredibly poor concentration and skill overall. On another note, watching it on the tv you cannot see the real lack of intensity whereas live it was so unbelievably apparent.

Really need redemption tomorrow otherwise season is slipping away - really costly

How did we lose to the Bombers. Tonights game proves how woeful they are.
Only we could make Williams, Reimers and Gumbleton look like AFL players.

Yep, enjoying watching them lose of course, but it's still making me

Says a lot about us doesn't it?

A timely juncture to repost my final thought from the match thread.

Can't understand how we make spuds like Williams, Lovett-Murray & Reimers look champions. Luckily Neagle didn't play or we probably would have made him look good too.

Here's a thought for Knighter - any rolled gold spud on the list that you'd like to trade at year end, just play them against us next time around.

We're sure to make them look like capable AFL players.

Just on the Fev attitude change; Can't help but think it maybe highlights or tells us more about us as a club than anything else.
I hope the real Fev comes out to play shortly but I have a horrible, horrible feeling that may not happen.

ps. Don't start me on Essendon* game again.
