Not surprised - cheating white/lime/fuchsia/red maggotts

..actually, i reckon it's great.. ..it's about time that the umps were held accountable for making poor decisions.. ..it's not much help during the game, but if they keep a steady and public account of mistakes, repeat offenders will be fazed out..

..of course, i reckon the umps would also improve if the mega rich AFL employed professionals..

And he also confirmed that the Lonergan decision was correct despite a number of media turds carrying on about it being an incorrect decision - footy classified in particular!!! :hitcomputer:

Couldn't believe that they didn't know that when you're tackled and the ball its the ground first even though it is eventually kicked it is incorrect disposal! And a sudsequent freekick!!!

And thats what happened to Lonergan. Great chase and tackle by Armfield.

It's still a copout to say the umpire was blindsided. He adjudicated that it was a handball by the footage.

Chamberlain isn't fit to umpire the Central Murray U/18's

The umpires made about 5 mistakes for the night our team made 30 plus.

If thats the case, goals scored from umpire errors should not be counted in the total score then...

There was an eerie silence after the Russell/Hocking free kick and goal. Even the scum fans were in shock.

The Essendon* supporters sitting near me just shook their heads and laughed when it was replayed on the scoreboard.

Just Saturday?

Carlton have consistently been screwed by the umpires in matches against Essendon* in the last few years.

You take the good with the bad in general, but when you have 3 or more goals per match being scored from dubious free kicks (and also the numerous 50 metres) then you start to wonder if there is a pattern in regards to Carlton vs Essendon* matches.

Blindsighted

There were two players 40 metres from anyone else and the umpire was 30 metres away. Pears takes 4 or 5 steps, is tackled brilliantly and the ball spills. What the %$#@ is blindsighted about that.

Me thinks the Giesh talks with 'Malthouse' like tongue.

Actually something just came to me about the indicent. The umpire indicated Pears had handballed the ball after the tackle hence no free. If he was blindsighted how could he adjudicate he handballed it.

The plot thickens my dear Watson.
