I expect us to at least come out throwing out bodies around and working hard off the ball. If we win or not doesn't matter but just show us you care.

With Tippet and Dangerfield seemingly set to miss, the Crows are the walking wounded at the moment. I watched their whole game vs Melbourne yesterday, and they look no where near the same team to the one that thumped us in Round 22 last year.
With Judd, and hopefully Bower to come into our side, no matter the fact we're playing them at AAMI, if we can not beat them with the amount of injuries and underdone players they've got at the moment, then SERIOUS questions need to be asked about Ratten and this current playing group.

De Ja Vu'

After the weekend, we will not win regardless of who plays for them, or if they put in their whole reserves side.

I am not getting my hopes up again, like I did against Essendon*.

Besides we don't want to win, we are a bunch of pussies.

I'd play Gartlett. Use Eddie Betts in the middle at ball ups

We. Must. Do. This.

Lucky Eddie stuffed up, his shiny new tank should allow him to have many more spurts in the middle. Easily one of our best clearance players, uncanny at centre bounces.

..i'd bring in garlett too, but no real need to move eddie into the middle unless we get carved up again.. ..first two rounds our mids were dominant, and with judd back in can't see us getting thrashed again..

Dunno BKB, Juddy has probs with the Crows and he played in praccy @ Visy when we got rolled by a very undermanned Crows side. Time to mix it up against these guys, me thinks. Like the Bombers, they know they have our number.

Crows are $1.87, Blues are $1.94.

We are the underdogs - we win. Simple.

I'd like to see some real intensity and desperation and aggression. I wouldn't even mind seeing a few of our players reported for being over-aggressive. It's been a long time since we've shown any genuine nastiness on the field.

I think a new club record tackle count is in order.

not wanting to get involved in the Ratts thing BUT if we had appointed Harvey as coach of Carlton over the summer how many on here would have been happy with the appointment?

It would depend on what his appointment was based on...To be honest the only opinion (inside the club at the moment) I trust is that of Swann right now so any new candidate would have to greatly impress Swann in my mind plus I feel we need to have a panel of outsiders give their recommendations on prospective candidates as well.

But back to your question...if Harvey impressed Sticks for instance and his appointment was ratified because of this I'd be very concerned...

I would be very surprised if we don't come out a hell of a lot more intense and switched on than last week. Thing is, most likely Adelaide will too.

My prediction is another narrow frustrating loss.

I'm sure Ratts was at the G to watch this game.

The Dees did us a great favour because they showed us how to play, hard at the footy and tackle hard.

If we as a team cannot play in the same manner the dees played against the crows then we will go no where this year. The dees did it surely we can??????

I have real doubts about this game, and the lack of endeavour we showed against the scum makes me livid.

I just cant get that vision of reimers tauting Army about the scoreboard out of my mind!!!!!

Don't worry, they'll bring in some youngster from the SANFL and we'll let him kick 5 goals on us

so its the process he was elected by that concerns you with Ratts rather than his perceived coaching ability ?

They won't make many changes.

The old chestnut "we want to give this group the chance to redeem themselves" will be reeled out, and Sammy won't come in bec they will need to show they are committed to 206 given how much we traded to get him.

Brock may miss through injury?
