Henderson marks 40 out directly in front ... and misses.

10 points and lucky to be that close. Now to regroup - hopefully!

It's against clubs like this that we need to be more like St Kilda. Clog their fwd line and rebound. Too easy for them to use their far superior pace through the corridor and then kick it to one-on-one contests.

Last bomber goal a bit dodgy

We are lucky to be this close - not in the game at all

4 tomes we kicked it Out bounds that quarter

Waite - Ohalpin Brock - really struggling

Be greatful we are only 10 points down

Hopefully the bomber seond halfs continue

Point was made on AW that the midfielders do not push back into defense to fill the space and are lazy. Interesting to hear from those later at the game if that is the case.

We're giving them so much space in their F50.

The positive is we are still in the game on the scoreboard, we simply have to lift.

It sounds obvious but when we get a goal we seem to lift and regain some momentum. Our starts in the two quarters to date have been very poor. Our intensity has been weak, we need to chase and tackle harder.

Is this player inability or coaching and teaching with a performance like this?

If players are not following instruction - why?

Will or skill?

Come on Blues lift. Still in it and our better players are not in the game as yet. Need a big half from Gibbs, Murph, Waite, and Kreuzer.

31 inside 50's to 19

Pears the 1/3 leader stat getter on the ground with 14 behind Watson and Lovett Murray

Running off half bak like he did against Fev

Need a 1/3quarter like last game against Brissy and we should bury them -but not confident at all

Intensity level was down right from the start. I don't sense much leadership out on the ground either (welcome back next week big fella). Pretty obvious that apart from Rich and Melbourne, we will be 50/50 prospects at best against the rest. Fwd line just too dodgy to consistently score. We'll be in most games, but our ability to score is the worry

Bit of both, but mostly the latter. That said, we don't look hungry enough.

Just haven't been up to standard so far tonight.

The problem is more that we should have gone in with confidence and deliver, but deep down we were nervous because we seem to lack that intense killer instinct.

Hope the second half is better - go blues
