Also, CFCTV have fallen behind a bit on their youtube channel. Mols et al, able to ping an e-mail to the men & women responsible? :P

It is not always based on just the one week/game.

They do sometimes take into consideration accrued form, for use of a better word.

Anyhow, well done to Chris. He has amazing talent, and I think his nom says as much about his 3 gls as his 6 tackles.

If he can keep up the hard work, he will thrive you would think. Good that he plays with Betts, as he will teach him by actions the importance of chasing and defensive pressure inside F50, which is more central to the game of AFL footy now than it ever has been.

Let's not forget Yarran was considered top 2 most talented players in that draft by several pundits.

This is only the beginning of what will soon be AFL domination.

Go Yazza!!!

I was absolutely rapt with what I saw last week. The guy seems to have improved out of sight. The challenge now is to back it up week after week.

He and Eddie seem to have developed that mercurial 'understanding' that the Indigenous brothers have with each other... It was almost 'Krakouresque' the way Yazz and Eddie were able to find each other with the bal or help each other out... Hope this continues for many many more years to come...

Yazz had a great game and deserves the nomination, but make no mistake if barlow was eligible accrued form would mean squat.

That was one of the best debuts for a long time

As he breaks the 50 game barrier I get the feeling he's going to be immensely powerful for the team. If we can get Garlett in the same vein as Yarran & Betts all of a sudden Carlton has an indigenous elite brigade that makes a mockery of Essendon*.

QFT. If Yarran continues to improve at this rate and Eddie manages to find consistency, then those two alone will form one of the most lethal duos in the AFL. It's hard to explain but they are actually capable of anything, at any time. If Garlett manages to get even close then we have yet another trump card up our sleeves. Those three in the forward line, all firing, would be insane. Remember how we struggled matching up on the small quick forwards, just ONE in a forwardline, imagine those three. For one you would never feel remotely safe as a defender with the ball in your hands and two, goals would come from everywhere. If one of our talls doesn't manage to pull down a mark there are those three hovering for the crumbs.

In 2-3 years we are going to be giving the premiership a SERIOUS tilt. And we are going to have these rare weapons that others simply don't have.. hypothetically, say things go well with our game plan and the bulk of our youngsters come on as we please, how are you going to handle the mobility of our talls, our supreme rucking brigade, the elite talent in the midfield and our indigenous forward contingent? flower. Just things you don't see in many sides ever.

He had two direct scoring assists. But as I watched the replay a second time I noted his forward line pressure was a contributing factor in about 2-3 others.
