i think joseph on black, bring in lucas for anderson and we should be pretty sweet. hadley may come in to help with the clearance work.. but that might leave us too slow.

At this stage my only change would be to bring in Grigg and omit Anderson.
Walker to play more in defence.

Hopefully Waite and Carazzo are clear to play.

let's confuse everyone and ignore Fev

Seems the players can't do that either

Can't wait for this one.

Just flew to Qld today with the family after experiencing a great night at the G last night.

I am heading to the game at the GABBA next Thursday night and can't wait.

A win here and you can expect 80,000 at the G the following week.

Midfield is the key, we win that battle against the Lions, we win the game.

Go Blues !!

Id flirt with the tightest tag on Black possible - who is the best option, Grigg? We need to close him down as he is their spark and a brilliant player.

Just putting it out there... JR?

Has the body size to go with him.

His work off HBF has been great but IMO he's the perfect option.

Not JR , please .
He's found his spot , and is playing good football . Leave him there I reckon . His kicking has improved , specially when he has the kick-in duties . We've lacked that for a long time . Don't muck around with it now .

ok...just hoping that Waitey and Setant won't be anywhere near Fevvy cos we need em elsewhere...might be good if Brown and Fev try to go for the same marks...that way might not need anyone on either of them.
Would like to see Lucas....Hadley?

Yep, let's not believe the coach.

Will Jamo miss? Or is this just wishful thinking on the HUN's part?

What coach has ever come out and spoken truthfully about an injury, immediately post-game? It's no slight on Ratts to assume that Jamo's shoulder was more than just a "bump, and he's fine."

But.....
if we play Waitey on JB or fev....
well....
it would be like....
throwing him to the.....
well.. you see what i mean...
that never ended well...
back in the olden days...
so buck up Jamo....
its called
Cortisone. or...
maybe just a bex and a good lie down.
He's fine! (he's gotta be...)

No changes this week.

Jamo has to go to Fev.
Bower on Brown and AJ to Buchanan.

Thornton on Clark and can zone off with Waite dropping back to help when needed as will Warnock.

Forget tagging as we need to dominate in the midfield to starve their attack. If we have the ball they dont!!

He got it in the first quarter and played out the game after an assessment...

Per other thread, Ratts on the radio now just said Jamo is fine and will play.

On selection;

Should we utilise the discrepancy in preparation when considering selection?

They'll be on a very short break, we'll be on a full week. Maybe we should bring in a couple of hard runners and run them around a bit?

If we get some break evens down back, we could maybe run over them late on?
