It'd be the Sydney offices that decide what time the footy is aired in NSW/ACT I'd imagine.

Hopefully the general sentiment that we will be rubbish means sides will underestimate us, beginning with the Tigers.

Because, we are no longer coming...

Some quotes

"We haven't taken any leviathan bets, but a heap of $1000 and $2000 bets on Carlton. The biggest bet we have taken on the Tigers has been just $50."

Highly confident Tigers supporters ????

"We are holding $4900 on the game and just $200 of that is on Richmond," TAB Sportsbet's Gary Davies said.

This hasn't gotten a run on here yet, our permission to play list for today:

Dennis Armfield, Marcus Davies, Sam Jacobs, Chris Johnson, Kane Lucas, Marc Murphy, Jarrad Waite.

Browne, Hadley, Armfield, Garlett, Lucas & Davies all still a chance for round 1 at this stage. Is Garlett ineligible to play VFL this weekend??

No*beep*idea how on earth is GWS going to take off with out FTA coverage - People In blacktown cant afford Pay TV

Its outrageous!!

Don't forget the AFL promised us "unprecedented live coverage" What a crock!

Also the main AFL site has negleted to update their Tv coverage link - they still have the details of the coverage for the NAP Cup

Oh and just to add insult to injury - the Main Event site in their wisdom has also neglected to update their AFL Schedule, instead they have still have their TV Schedule for last season!!

Talking about bets. My bro and I, and families are holidaying this week leading up to the game. He is mad Richmond and I of course love my Blues.

I have been pestering him for the last 2 months and finally got confirmation.

Whichever team wins on Thursday night, and the Blues will of course, his 18 month child, HAS to go for that team for the rest of his life.

Go Blues.

P.S. The 18 month child all ready has more teeth than the usual tigger, including his father.

Definitely Mitch Farmer & Dustin Martin. I wonder who the third is?

I know that there has been a lot of focus on the loss of Fev, and rightly so. He always takes the best defender (or two) and it will be interesting to see how our newbie forward line go, but what about the loss of Nick Stevens. I know that his efforts were often maligned by people on this forum, but do we have a suitable replacement for him. There were many times, especially in the clinches, where Nick really found an extra gear and his skills were also pretty decent. I am not sure who in our mid-field now has his role. He also took a tagger in most matches, which will place more pressure on our mid-field now that he has gone.

Do we have a suitable replacement for NicK?

Ben Nason and Relton Roberts (rookie upgrade) would be in the mix!

The closest on the list (aside from Scotland) would be Kerr. Doesn't always have to be like for like, however.

I wouldn't play Murphy this week. He looked sore in the crows game and from the reports he wasnt moving freely today.
Waite i would play but only because i think we can get away with it against the Tigers and game time is the thing he needs most. I would leave him out if the Bullants have a good hit out next week though.

Go with a fresh, fit and hungry, team focused side. Murphy and Waite can come in when they are 100% ready.

He looked fine in the Crows game IMO, just lacking a bit of fitness. Sounds as though he copped a corkie in the side today, one would presume he'd be fine for Richmond.
