Ok so I was talking to a Collingwood supporter (one of my best mates) the other day and he was telling me about some of the lame chants the filth has for some if their players…

Example : -

“NEON LEON”
“TARKO TARKO MAN” - I cant stand Tarkyn cant believe these mongrels have a chant for this weak flower

There were others one for Frasier and another the Didak…

Now I know we have “Kroooze” but that’s not really in the same category as a chant…

So for fun I was thinking what chants if any could we make up for some of our guys….

I guess us started how bouts when Eddie kicks a goal

“MEET THE BETTS, EDDIE BETTS” - From the MLB METS chants..

What do you guys have?

AFL crowds overall, particularly cheer squads, are pretty lame with their 'chants'..
And don't get me started about those stupid (and mostly pointless if not specifically celebrating a player's milestone game) pre game banners...

our chants in the afl are cringe worthy, and agree the banners are so lame. i remember i took a mate from the states to a game and he thought what the flower is that, i explained and he goes so they run through paper before every game lol

Dont really get enough time to chant at an AFL game. Its too intense.

I am happy for it to remain that way. Just go to a melbourne victory game and sit near one of their cheer squads and you will be put off chanting for life. Loads of 16 year old kids with wacky hair do's getting told what to chant from some old guy with a megaphone. Most of it is rubbish that makes the old Aussie aussie aussie chant sound creative.

Completey agree chanting has no place in football i.e the filth's chants are an embarrasment to the game.

The point of this thread was hypothethical.... I'm sure we can make up some better chants for our players not that we'd ever use them

Most people wouldn't know that that truly embaressing and lame as anything 'aussie aussie aussie oi oi oi' chant is just a slight reworking of an old Nazi chant...

As a Fulham fan I got a laugh as West Ham fans sang "Does your butler know you're here". Teams could use this again the Dees.

There was a player in the Scottish league Andy Goram (IIRC) who was diagnosed with schizophrenia (or the like) the fans (Gers I think) sang "There's only two Andy Gorams"

If you wanna sing, you can do so in the shower.
AFL games are for random abuse of opposition players, umpires and the gods of football interspersed with exclamation of favored players names and general praise/damnation of their efforts.

So so harsh, but so so funny.
