I hope Juddy comes clean on what really happened at the Brownlow.

You'd have to be a bit feral to get sucked into watching The Mindless Trash Show.

I don't think Juddy is as polished as you guys think. If he was he would not have been ambushed by the media after the elimination final last year which is probably what resulted him missing this season's first 3 weeks.

I hope Juddy has some rehearsed answers ready and has the nouse to clam up if he hasn't. Hutchy might have a boyish grin but asks the tough questions and doesn't give up. He's probably the only good thing left on the Footy Show.

Hutchy's "boyish grin" is replaced by a puckered duck's arse when he's being "hard hitting".

Never seen a puckered duck's arse. Does anyone have a photo?

settle down ferals :)

Judd won't say anything more then what was reported at the alleged incident.

What he will probably reveal in more detail is what happened after the incident

* How the players got sat down by Sticks
* The trio doing gym training till they spewed and banished from the club
* The 15-20 Personal Best times around visy park and players being fitter then ever.
* How henderson, Waite and Setanta look to have a good year in the forward line etc.
* And put other spins on it to send a positive message to get memberships. Its all about memberships

Bit stupid to go into more details about the actual boat cruise to spark more media about it.

As for Fev, l doubt he would say much at all. They are mates, believe it or not. If your the captain of the club he wouldn't want to say much about a past player of the club. New time, new players, new direction. No point relieving the past.

Let's hope Juddy isn't an apologist for Fev. I'd be happy to see him say "Fev's an opposition player now and I have no interest in talking about him".
I'll be disappointed if he makes excuses for Fev.

Well I for one will be watching and I hope Juddy tells it like it is. It's all been thrashed through the media and we all are aware of what has happened so now we need to get on the front foot and explain how we are turning these negatives into positives. And perhaps now that Fev has slapped our club across the face with his childish comments Judd and Carlton will be more inclined to reveal a little of what went on 'that' night. Obviously nothing of any real note will be said but I'm sure it will all conclude with Judd saying that he was sacked, the club has moved on, Houla Betts and Walks are better people for their experience and that the whole club is now enthused about the season 2010 etc etc etc....

On a side note - If I remember correctly wasnt Sammy laying into Hutchy at the end of last season about him going in for some 'yeah yeah' hair action at the end of the season? Perhaps we may get to see the new Hutchy and his new rug!!!! That should get the ratings going....

They're everywhere these days...Doug Bollinger...Ricky Ponting...James Hird...Shane Warne...all had hair replacement surgery at one time or another.

I'll watch because frankly these days there's not much else on if you rule out:

- cop shows,
- hospital shows, and
- reality shows

I shall stand ready for a 10 min regurgitation of what we all already know. I shall have pen poised at the ready to count how many times the word 'unpredictable' gets mentioned. I'd put money on there being a gag somewhere where somebody's mobile phone will have a nude picture of Sam Newman in the shower!!!

Judd might as well get out and sell the club in the media, he wont be playing footy for a while and apparently we are paying him a motza to market the club. If we ever need our Captain to sell memberships now is the time to do it!! Regardless of whether you like the show and its personalities, it does have a wide audience and we should be grasping with both hands any opportunity to use the media to sell memberships. If you dont like the show dont watch, if Judd says anything interesting you'll be able to read the sensationalised version on the front page of the HUN on Friday morning, regardless of what else happens in the world overnight!!

My bet is that he'll give a very measured, rehearsed and diplomatic account of procedings, try to play it all down and then try to talk up some positive stuff. Amazingly he wont have seen some of the spectacular things hutchy will pose to him, he'll have gone home early/looking the other way etc. Unpredictability and Henderson will get a mention, our draftees will be pumped up and he'll reliably let us know that everything is good to go for the season so go out and buy a membership!!!

I don't think it will be a 'tell all' interview where he'll just spill his guts about everything that happened. There is no way that the 'seasoned player' who was handcuffed to Casboult will be revealed, seeing as all the booze cruise business has just started to get behind us. Revealing the player will just bring it all up again, and things will be much worse with less than 2 weeks to go before the season.

Hopefully the Fevola comments are raised though and he has a bit to say about that.

i think people will be shocked and probs wont believe it if the person who was handcuffed to casboult was revealed! i could say who it was but dunno if i should ......

I seem to remember the infamous Libba/Tanking interview at the launch of the 2008 season.

Here we are, two years later, and they will try and derail us again.

Rubbish T.V. Rubbish personalities.

Difference is, Libba was a disgruntled ex employee taking a cheap pot shot at his old bosses. Don't compare the mentality (or there lack of) of that dwarf to that of Chris Judd.
Juddy won't say anything the Club wouldn't want him to say. Furthermore, Gary Lyon has a big man crush on Juddy and wouldn't do anything to harm his image.

Great stuff by Judd in tackling as Captain media work that hasn't particularly been his strong suit up to now.

He'll do the club proud

Totally agree D_7 - not comparing apples and turds.

My point is more with channel 9 and their tired sensationalism.
Let's not forget they tried getting Juddy to talk about Carlton's 'tanking' in that season launch live at the G
a couple of years ago. It was 6 months later.

Boy am I a cynic with the media these days!!

Bottom line is that Juddy's on TV...on TFS.

Juddy's the right player to represent us on that show.
There's no reason why it can't turn out to be a positive spin for the club.
I'm suspecting it will be. It is at the very least exposure.
We need more members. We've got to be spruiking the club and the next flag.

I wouldn't record TVS Nor stay up to 1am to watch TFS.
It died for me a long long time ago...EVEN before Fev became a TFS star.
Sam Newman is the only star of the show imo and GEEZ he's lost a lot of his fans from his Fev-like misdemeanors.
The market has become desensitised...it's now a boring non pro footy show.

I look forward to the response post Thursday night's show.
