The promo 9's running is headed by "Chris Judd tells all about Carlton's off season on The Footy Show next Thursday night".

It also promises to show "All the highlights of Brownlow Night interviews".

Why are the Club allowing this?.....aren't we trying to put it all behind us?.....it's old news anyway......

But....the Fevola story is now big news again......bloody McGuire and his hatred of Carlton.

I don't think it will be a 'tell all' interview where he'll just spill his guts about everything that happened. There is no way that the 'seasoned player' who was handcuffed to Casboult will be revealed, seeing as all the booze cruise business has just started to get behind us. Revealing the player will just bring it all up again, and things will be much worse with less than 2 weeks to go before the season.

Hopefully the Fevola comments are raised though and he has a bit to say about that.

Personally; I haven't watched TFS for about 4 years.....I can't stand Lyon or Brayshaw or Newman or Hutchison.....and.....I'm not "angry"....just wondering why Judd as Carlton Captain is appearing on such an amateurish....headline seeking excuse for a "footy show".

Membership publicity?......sure.......but will that stop Hutchison digging for dirt?......Juddy has shown in the past he sometimes has some difficulty expressing himself without putting his foot in it; especially now that Fevola is publically bagging his former Club and team mates.

Look, I know it's hypocritical and nonsensical to post "I couldn't care less" about the footy show in a thread about the footy show... but well, I couldn't care less.

It was once a relevant force in the football world, but ratings are dropping every year, and it stopped being must-see TV for the industry years ago.

The Channel 9 Boofhead Club are one of the main reasons I got Foxtel, and I haven't watched that channel since (save for a brief look at their woeful Winter Olympics coverage, which only served to reinforce my opinion of them).

Seriously, nothing will be said. Judd doesn't reveal much at the best of times. There will be leading questions, a few bemused looks from Judd, but he'll cover it off in some other, rehearsed way. He's too smart and polished, in hiw own way, for anything else.

As captain I want Juddy to promote my club at every opportunity: -

It highlighted to the club the immaturity of the group and forced the club to engage professionals to identify & develop leaders.

Hence it has helped the club to recognize these leaders and give them confidence to act and have a voice where necessary. Remember these guys average age is only around 22.

He can say this is going well & they are fine young men

He also needs to declare he shares in the responsibility, with the club hierarchy, for not recognizing the team’s immaturity – but maybe also state it seems obvious in hindsight.

He can then say something like - watch out for 2010 the boys are firing!!!!

That's fine in theory but......Hutchison won't cop all of that .....it's not the way he operates.
