Hi all - not very long time listener, first time caller.
This woof thing has bugged me for ages and if for no other reason is why Lou Richards should not get into Hall of Fame (or whatever it is). It started with Val Perovic (as correctly pointed out) but the call was "BOOF!". Imagine 25,000 at Princes Park unloading a Boof! everytime Val unloaded: it was exhilarating. Lou eventually cottoned on and thought he heard "woof" then used his media oulets to RUIN a sound that was powerful and explosive. When the next generation cottoned on to Ange (great footballer) unfortunately Lou's lie was perpetuated. Yet another reason to not like Collingwood. So, when the next "Boof!" finds us, let's honour him properly.
