Don't understand the Friday 4pm timeslot they've been using.

The club do it because they don't care less about their members.

They only wan't to suck money from us. e.g. merchandise raffle tickets etc etc

The clubs dont schedule these matches , the AFL do.

Chubby if the club wanted to suck more money out of us they would have put the game on at the most beneficial time for them, Saturday.

Unfortunately the pre-season is a joke as you are told who, when and where to play by the dynamic duo :banghead:

At least we are not travelling to Bunbury or Alice Springs.

I am going to try and get down there on Friday. Luckily my boss is a CFC member so I might even try and get a lift down to the ground

Everyone who has been complaining about our play, our personnel and our level of commitment, I implore you: please go to this game. This is the only one of the four pre-season games that matters.

Should be a good challenge for the boys and if you want to test yourself against a seasoned opponent, Adelaide are as good as it comes.
Looking forward to it. Especially our forward line function against an experienced, strong defence.

Many people are unable to make it to this game due to work/school. Friday at 4pm is a shit time. Saturday would be much better for a number of reasons. 6 day break from WA, isnt ideal at this stage of the campaign. There are no matches at Visy on the Saturday and it certainly would not decrease the amount of supporters that attend the NAB GF. If on Firday it means many people will not be able to see their team this pre-season as our matches in Melbourne have both been on fridays.

Trying to get something started to see if we can have the match shifted to a saturday. Thoughts?

I would be in on any push for a Saturday game. I haven't been able to get to any pre season games yet because they have been either interstate or at silly times. So why not Saturday?

The scheduling is ridiculous - why does there have to be a 6 day break after a WA game, with the start of the season 13 days away? Can't fathom why we couldn't have a 7 day break and then 12 days til round 1.

However blaming the club for this is just as ridiculous - especially if you're going to use such an illogical argument.

The club should stand up for it's members and have this match re-scheduled.

Getting to & from Visy Park on a working Friday at 4.00 pm is a joke.

By the way we had an intra-club match on a Friday arvo at 4.00pm a few weeks ago. Did the AFL schedule that as well.

Its a great way to sign up members :banghead:

The challenge is not for fans, the Nab cup is the competition that is tailored to supporters. The AFL has sought to make the Nab Cup something that teams take seriously, so if you lose you have to play at shit grounds and at times that dont suit you. The preseason is completely organised by the AFL

If you didn't understand before ALL games are schedule by the AFL not the club. The CFC do not make any money from gate receipts.

The Brisbane game was free for members which is very good extra benefit the club organized for the members considering it only should of been free for AFL members

Owing to my current state of unemployment 4pm on a Friday suits me just fine.

In fact, they could play the match at 3am on a Wednesday and it'd suit me.

I'm just glad that for a couple hours this Friday I'll have something to do, and it'll only cost me $5.

I haven't really cared about any game this pre-season, I just want the real stuff to start, oh and rest Andrew Walker until Round 1.

Two games at Visy park in pre season is pretty good. Stop whingeing! It's as good a preparation as you could hope for after being knocked out early
