So, are we likely to be back playing in Melbourne the week after? Or off to some random outback place?

So WCE get to stay home for the 3rd week in a row. Rally fair by the AFL.

Its great that the people that don't get to see AFL during the season get a NAB challenge match.
Is Leaderville more than 5km from Subi?

Well WCE/Dockers travel further than anyone else during the season, and they'll travel next week + for round 1 to the Gabba. Take the good with the bad when it comes to fixturing.

Great spot chosen in Leederville for WA Blues to get a long & the ground has been used for WAFL pre-season games so far so should be in perfect nick. Better to be playing here than Bunbury or "regional".

I've been pumped for months cause I have AC/DC tickets  Now I'll miss out on seeing the Navy Blues

Good location for the match. Ground should be in top condition.

interested to see the squad - i expect to see at leat 10 players different to what lined up last week

Suspect they will hold Waite and Murphy for one more week - Armfield needs to return if not injured- It was round 3 last year where we got to see a few younguns play

Assume last round will be back in Vic and a full dress rehersal for round 1

I expect a few of the WA boys will be glad to have a run around at Leederville

I hope they've learned their lesson from the bad Bumbury experience last pre season and hold off playing the A graders like Gibbs, Judd, Kreuzer etc. No use risking further injury to Murph or Waitey either by bringing them back on dodgy suburboan ovals.. Time to give the kids a go.... You never know... We might discover a diamond in the rough like we did last year with Aaron Joseph when he came from no where and did well when he played on Gazza Jnr....

firstly leederville oval will be a better surface than blacktown was and much better than bunbury last year ( which wasnt that bad just a tad hard )

secondly KK , you had a Sydney game just over a week ago !!!!

Murph and Waitey will both play this week apparently.

Plan is half a game for both and then a bit more the week after.

Means they would have had two hitouts before round 1.
