I would go to this just about any other day of the week, except for this Friday when Soundwave is on

One positive of having Fev playing against us is that it gives us a chance to work out a suitable match up for him, before we play them in the season proper. I know some people say put Setants on him but he would get absolutely smashed in terms of footy smarts and Fev would have him covered on the lead.

I really think the only suitable match up for him would be Jamison, and perhaps Waite in the season proper would go down back for the matches against the Lions. Rotate Jamo and Waite on the 2 big lions forwards.

No Rich, Power or Black in the Lions midfield, and Raines and Maguire in their defence. Sure they will have a gun forward line but the rest looks shaky .................

Can someone help my feeble mind? I see O'Hailpin, Betts, Walker, Houlihan, and Simpson are all back in the squad, but the only blokes I can figure out who are missing from last week are Grigg and Fisher. Who else has made way?

squad was 26 last week - 6 interchange 2 subs

there are 29 listed in this squad - don't know if the rules are the same for the Nab Challenge as to the NAB cup but I think the squad will be cut

Last weeks squad of 29 contained Setanta and Simpson, Fisher and Grigg are out, Walker and Houlihan are in, Ellard is out and Betts in.

No Rich, Power & Black means McLean doesn't have A grade competition. Nevertheless, I hope he puts last week behind him and he gets a kick.

Walker and Houla's return will be huge for the team. Strength, skill and experience...and with Walker and Betts some added raw pace we were missing last weekend.

Henderson against his old team. Last time these 2 teams met Henderson had a stint on Fev.

Looking for the team to take another step forward in preparation to the real stuff in a month's time.

I wonder what's happened to Grigg?
