GC havent signed anyone up of any note....its just banana talk....

And actually i cant see GC making a dent in the comp for ten years minimum

In 4-5 years time they will absolutely dominate.

And it won't be because of the players they sign or the early picks they have.

It will be because they have put together an outstanding recruiting team that will be able to nail the latish picks, not just the early ones.

You'll see.

3 premierships by 2022 minimum I reckon.

The love being shown to him by Carlton supporters of late is making him feel very uneasy.

That's no reason to like it.

If it is bad for the Carlton Football Club then I don't like it.

I thought grigg was one of the only players in our loss on saturday who showed a bit of dash and balls. To be honest, im going to be pissed off to lose anyone to the !@#$%& GC.

I agree and think that he will be a good player though we have players to cover his potential role in the team. If we do lose a player, then I'd prefer to lose one that would attract good compensation (something that jacobs is less likely to do)

According to McKenna they haven't signed anyone as yet (take that on face value

On the Channel 10 news they mentioned that the loop hole was between the 31st OCtober and the Pre-season draft and from what I gathered the players had to have signed during that period.

Rumours, rumours.
If it had been Caro, you'd all be saying what a joke it was.

Well the rumour I've heard over here is that the player is Murphy.

What's his contract status ?

If we only lost Jacobs i'd be over the moon, until this time next year.

Says Carlton will receive pick 2 and a youngster. Interesting, they can take him for nothing so why would they give up an early pick? Unless Gibbs said he wouldnt go otherwise?
Hope this is not true, but Swann said a month ago Gibbs contract was almost done. So why hasnt it been done?

His post is his ONLY ever post, and he says we are TRADING fev for #2 and a kid, which is crap as he would be going as an uncontracted player ...............

Good midfielders are a dime a dozen. Good ruckman are as rare as hens teeth.

Make no mistake, Jacobs is a very, very good ruckman.
