Geez some of you guys pick on everything the club does.
They suspended them for a month from the club, and are not playing any NAB cup games. What else do you want ? Walker and Houlihan were drunk but were not driving, they were in hotel rooms for goodness sakes. They had a fight with security that had a go at them for some reason.
They are both good blokes so it must have been some hot shot security guards trying to be tough.Betts on the other hand is a different story and probably deserved a bigger punishment than the others.
They never said they would not play challenge games or the start of the season.
We have a season to play, and it would be stupid not the have the guys play the challenge cup games.
Why cant we move on

It could have been some security guard doing what he was paid to do, maintain the standards of the place, which presumably preclude people running around the foyer in their jocks.
I once had to threaten Mark McIntee with being tossed out of Wrest Point (where the Divinyls were staying at the time) for running around the foyer dressed only in a shirt and jocks. It's no fun being caught up in that sort of situation. If you don't do it, you lose your job. If you do it, some smart but anonymous person on an internet forum decides you must be a hot shot. If it weren't for those sorts of blokes putting their bodies at risk to keep the rules and protect punters, some places would be too dangerous to go to.
