Nah not delusional. Just have a greater gift of foresight than some!

We've endured and outlasted the worst period in our history .... I'm a great believer in 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'.... and we're all too aware our beloved Club almost didn't survive through it.

Someone in BF said that Gibbs has been signed and will be announced in coming weeks.

Is this true ? Not sure if the poster is reliable or not.

Havent heard but i hope its true. You would imagine it would be announced soon though to help with membership sales.
We are on a roll at the moment so why not continue with the good stories.

If true, I would think they would announce the news on the day we play our first match against Richmond.

How do you know it's the club that's slow on the uptake?

Agree however if he is on the front page of the Gold Coast Bulletin in a Gold Coast Jumper, then we have to start worrying

I'd like to see this done soon.

Not good having star young players OOC with GC looming, the longer this drags on the more likely there is an issue.

I have heard that some clubs are putting huge amounts of pressure on their players at the moment to head off the Gold Coast assault. They're saying "Sign! Sign! Sign!" when their main priority should be supporting their players to play good footy. The contract issues will be resolved in good time. The clubs have a role to play in terms of giving the players space to realise that it is not a decision they have to make straight away. They should be supporting the player and ensuring they are playing their best footy.

What would Burton know.

Carlton supporters aren't happy unless they have something to whine about...

Look unless you have good inside oil that Gibbs will sign or has signed, then you cannot know for sure what is happening.

The longer it drags on, the greater the chance something aint quite right.
