Carlton’s first round NAB Cup match against Sydney at Blacktown on Saturday February 20th has been sold out. The AFL confirmed today the match was a sell out with all available tickets have being purchased more than a week prior to the game...

Hmmpf. There goes any plans of a last minute decision to attend.

This has to be a first...
Never ever heard of a NAB Cup game being sold out before.

Ground has a capacity of 10000

1500 stand seats -
200 in function room
8300 outer ground

How they work out the outground is a bit of a mystery as it is a grass hill ( wet grass as well)

they must work on so many per m2 but they are saying that fold up chairs are allowed to be taken in along with assume picnic rugs etc

It will be interesting -

Are you sure you can take fold up chairs into the ground?

Has this been confirmed anywhere??

Just a heads up for anyone who has missed out on tickets - Family passes were sold as two adults and four kids which equates to 6 tickets - people like myself only have need for 3 of the 6 tickets.

The reason this is interesting is becuase the tickets were printed generic and there is no way to identify them as kids or adult tickets.

according to this off the Rooty Hill Rsl site

Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of sporting history when the Sydney Swans take on Carlton in the NAB Cup at Blacktown Olympic Park this summer. There’ll be free activities, loads of giveaways, face painting and mega inflatable’s for the kids and special guest appearances guaranteed to provide a fun-filled afternoon for all ages. The sporting action takes to the field at 7:40pm when history will be made when the AFL’s first elite game is played at the new home of the Greater Western Sydney’s very own Team GWS. The following are not permitted in the grounds. • Eskies • Umbrellas • Any hard items than can be used as missiles. • No alcohol • No glass • No cans
The following is permitted in the grounds. . Folding Chairs/ Blankets • Food in a bag • Plastic unopened soft drink bottles
