At least they don't TRY to hide their disdain for us.

Best part of that article was the google ad for cruises in Australia.

Awesome headline though, must give credit:

Slightly off topic -
I live up on the border and only read the Herald-Sun via the internet. The Carlton page is garbage and full of negative hype.
http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/clubs/carlton

The following stories should be on top, not things which happeneded months ago i.e. Fevola and booze cruise.
- We just signed a major sponsor for 3 years - huge news for us - put it on top
- We just signed a future superstar to the club for 2 years (Kruezer) and GC would have been after him in a big way - put in on top

If we win the premiership this year I assume the Herald will still be talking about the booze cruise.

The only reason why I would purchase the Herald Sun is if I ran out of Sorbent.

I hope Swan has a meeting with the Herald Sun to discuss and resolve it.

Bet the Herald Sun is spewing the cruise didn't happen a week before the 2007 Draft.

BOOZE CRUISE BLUES CHOOSE KRUEZ would've had them wetting their pants.

Or that it wasn't a well-known bedding retailer sponsoring us.

SNOOZE CHOOSE BOOZE CRUISE BLUES

Hey you Herald Sun hacks, here's a list of negatively-loaded words that rhyme with CRUISE, which your talentless sub-editors may wish to include in one of your moronic 120-point monosyllabic headlines:

LOSE

ABUSE

ACCUSE

OOZE

POOS

FUSE

BRUISE

SCREWS

RUSE

Go for it, you custodians of journalistic integrity.

The Whopper with 47g of fat (16g sat fat) is OK to be the official burger of the AFL though. That sends the right message to kids

The "Article" is on pg 10 of the HS.

It looks something like this

Soft centre: Chris Judd with a Mars Bar

The Blues are under fire from health experts for taking on the Mars brand as a major sponsor

Carlton is not alone, with McDonald's a major Pies sponsor. Dietitian Karen Inge said it was disappointing given the scale of the childhood obesity problem in Australia

"I think it's a pity football clubs are so desprate for money that they need to get it from fast-food outlets or confectionery companies," Ms Inge said.

I actually think it's a legitimate article, and it's pretty small. There's another article in the sports section talking about how we had the last laugh. It also reiterates the Pies sponsorship by Maccas

The HUN definitely loves sensationalist stories, but let's not get too paranoid here.

I definitely remember a reasonable stink got kicked up by the whole McDonalds deal - Mick coppe a grilling if I recall.

Just watched the presser for the first time. Great work one and all.

Whether it's belated or not, it would appear the club has addressed areas of concern and I get the feeling there is plenty of resolve being built within the playing group.

Let's take it on field now for '10.

There's a sense of assuredness (sp?) when watching professionals represent our club in the media.

A professional and confident media presence is an essential requirement for board members, senior admin and footy dept members these days.

The famous Fish n Chip shop at Bondi Beach is famous for their Deep Fried Mars Bars.

They've been doing it since the 80's.

Try one...they're fantastic....and I'm not a chocolate eater.

Hammer St Take Away in Bendigo had 'em too. Then the joint burnt down. Not sure if they got going again.
Crusader will know.
