Is it still on? :yikes:

Who's going?

Looking forward to it.

Training Guru's any information that would be handy to know.

What do we expect?

What would we like to see?

As far as I know it is still on and I will be going.

Do I look forward to it? Yes and No.

I predict a Carlton win. ;)

Looking forward to seeing a rough idea of the forward structure, and also hoping that its not an episode of probables vs. possibles, because there needs to be moments where others get a chance to rehearse (or possibly shine) in more prominent or diverse roles. Murphy & Waite will be rested, giving us a perfect 44 players.

But if you want a snappy presentation of my hopes, here's some proposed line-ups:

FB Armfield White Thornton
HB O'Keeffe Austin Russell
CC Houlihan Browne Simpson
HF Carrazzo Henderson Scotland
FF Robinson Hampson Betts

RR Warnock Hadley Grigg

INT Casboult Fisher Wiggins Ellard

VS

FB Joseph Jamison Dare
HB Anderson Bower Davies
CC Lucas Gibbs Johnson
HF Kerr O'hAilpin Yarran
FF Tiller Walker Garlett

RR Kreuzer McLean Judd

INT Jacobs Cachia Tuohy Donaldson

Legend
Denotes likely first team line-up

Even 10-10 split of our best 22 (albeit IMO), and everybody gets a go in a role they need to be assessed for, with the flexibility available in both teams to try many different combinations (Henderson, Setanta to FF, Austin to CHF, Walker to midfield, etc).

Pitting those two teams against each other could provide some good insight.

I am looking forward to it. It will be nice to sit back and watch the lads have a solid workout. With Fev and Nick gone and Judd missing the first three games, there will be plently of oppotunity for the lesser lights to press thier claims for Key roles in the team.

Also haven't been to Visy Park since the redevoplment so I am looking forward to having a gander at that to.

Yeah I agree it's a mismatch of epic proportions, but you have to put the centre-square unit together to practice.

It's supposed to be a full dress rehearsal; 20 minutes plus time-on.

Lucky it wasnt today -they would have cancelled it with the huge thunderstorm we had here in Melbourne and then probably suggested it was only going to be a 10 aside game -a virus has gone through the camp and so no good to play and the team wasnt afraid of rain :smoking:
