We were an infinitely better team when Hadley was on the park. When he was there, that's when our midfield looked unstoppable. Simply put, we beat Geelong with him playing, but suffered our worst losses (Collingwood, Essendon* and Adelaide) when he wasn't there. And now with Brock in there too, expect our outside mids to run rampant.

couldn't agree more.

am a big fan of hadley. in several games last year - early on and then just before he broke his arm - he was the only player who was committed to putting his head over the ball and also dishing out a bit of protection for judd and the smaller guys, when smart alecs from the opposition were starting to throw their weight around unnecessarily.

go hads!

I am another that believes we played our best footy last year with Hadley in the side. With the leg injuries this guy has sustained it was always going to take a few seasons to get back to where he should be ... and the training reports indicate that he is fit and firing.

I think McLean and Hadley can play in the same side but I see them rotating (with each other) off the bench most of the time. That will allow these guys to carry the workload they will need to.

Definitely room for Hads in the side. But are there still doubts that he wants to be at the Blues?

Some guys miss out on a trade but take their opportunities and just get on with it. Let's hope Hads is one if those
