Love it.

Collingwood has Joffa.
Essendon* has Peter Costello.
Richmond has Mick Molloy.

And Carlton, beautiful Carlton, has Princess Mary of Denmark.

As a Dane that makes me very happy... :D . Actually met Fred many years ago when he was in the military and had a beer with him. He is a great down to earth guy and he loves sport. Maybe Mary can get him to follow Carlton too. Collo should send them a membership.

I don't like her. I'm sick of the attention she's getting. I want her to disappear and never come back.

I love both of them, they represent what's magical and good about a monarchy. Instead we get...the British Royal Family.

Anyway whoo Carlton's the choice of royalty. Was there any doubt?

At last....

Now when they talk royals, etc, I can legitimately talk Footy, and the Blues at that.

Oh,Mary, you've made me very happy!

The Tyrant is spot on...the Danes are into Footy. Outside of Australia - Denmark is the most popular Australian Rules Football competition. I've played footy in North America and it's great fun...very good leagues and some of the yanks and canucks ain't half bad. Stephen Handley who used to play for Geelong is now living in Denmark and he has had a lot to do with the increasing popularity of the sport - especially in the schools. So maybe a Community Camp to Denmark is not such a bad idea.

I dont know where I have read or heard this but I think the Royal couple will be attending tomorrow nights final at the The Dome.

Now Collo, you're president of Carlton and CEO of TD, make sure you treat her and the Prince really well and throw a couple of Carlton scarves to the Prince and Princess for those lovely TV headshots!!!

I have always liked the elegance of Mary and the fact she is an Aussie, but also being a Carlton girl!!! Well, say no more... :P :D
