The Blues other big sponsor Toshiba - which had been trying to extricate itself from its agreement, which has one year to run - will remain with the club in a different and probably subsidiary role as a result of delicate talks that were continuing last night.

Good to see their staying on as a smaller sponsor but their is 1 year left on their contract so will be interesting to see if they renew their contract when it expires next year.

The Toshiba GM Paul (someone), who helped me get a nice big tv for my mum) has left the company so that's probably the reasoning for Toshiba's manourvres.

The new sponsor - i'm going with the National Bank.

It's on the site now boys and girls. Dan Murphy's from Round 9 as joint major sponsor with Optus.
Hope they change their logo ... remember, Blue and Green must never be seen .....

Fantastic news… I think the least all us TC’ers can do now is to support our new sponsor by buying (and consuming) item’s sold at Dan Murphy’s…

“I’m not DRUNK… I’m just supporting my team…”

With some of the cheapest grog prices in Melbourne, maybe we'll see the price of a beer at the dome come down a bit.

Fat chance...

Well done Deano, sure know your piss.

Absolute blinder of a choice. woo hoo.. :D

I always spend up big when I'm at Dan's, never seem to walk out there with anything less than a couple of hundred on the visa. Hopefully being a member I will get better discounts and use that money to buy more - I'm loving this. 8)

The way the sponsors are jumping on board, players will start getting tatts on their arms as we are running out of room on the jumper...
