Watching the replay I noticed a few things not easily picked up whilst sitting on Level 1 at the ground:
- Cincotta was immense in defence, he doesn't get the ball much but it's what he does off the ball that makes him a starter every week
- Hewett really hard at it in the guts
- Jack Martin will be a huge loss this week, he's just so hard and skilful
- Cottrell's run is so valuable, can't believe we debate whether to drop him on here sometimes. One of the first on the team sheet
- H's miss wasn't as much of a deflator as I thought at the time, we still dominated for a good 3-4 mins later with no reward, the Swans are just a tough, proud club who kept coming
- Nerves were aplenty, hopefully they go in Friday night knowing what to expect now
I was on Level 1, and you do miss a lot of the patterns, zoning, general positioning.
Yeah you get to see the individual contests close up, but miss a lot.
I sat up on Level 4 against GWS out of choice and hadn't been there before.
It really isnt as bad for me as it is for some. Great perspective, and with screen in your face pretty good.
I didnt think Harry stuffed up our momentum, for the reasons you gave. He did stuff up a potential 35 point lead and the energy the roar of the crowd would generate.
I thought the backline was a bit loose, and put that down to nerves. Watching them look around and fill holes instead of shoulder to shoulder.
I'm sure the boys nerves will be better for it next game.
