Thank flower!!!!!!

I was dreading playing the Swans more than, say, playing Collingwood. Hardest side in the world to beat at this time of the year (unless you are Geelong).

I'm in gundagai at a bucks. Especially enjoyed them closing the pub with 15 to go in the last quarter.
Fat boy running 300m back to his motel to watch the last 10 minutes. @#$%&! yeah!!!!

Martin late
Newman redeemed himself
Saad brilliant
Cerra very good
Cotters good

Tag on Cripps let Cerra Walsh Hewett do their thing. Great first half from Cottrell.

Thought the two rucks worked reasonably well.

Some uncharacteristic errors kicking in from Newman.

Charlie triple teamed; not surprising. Some of the entries were very poor but hurried kicks.

Jack Martin will be suspended.

Some really poor finishing from Harry.

How happy is Saad that he left the Flogs?

We had the game in control until Harry's miss in the 3rd qtr. Some unforced errors in defence from Newman, McGovern and Kemp were costly.
Melbourne will be tough without Martin, Acres and McKay.

Pros:

Did well to win the clearance battle after a slow start.
Cottrell, TDK, Cerra, Saad, Martin, Newman, Walsh.
Good first half from Weiters, Kemp and Harry.
Good second half from Acres and Charlie.
Good to see Cuningham make a contribution after being pretty invisible in recent weeks.
Lucky with score reviews.

Cons:

Tightened up in the last quarter.
Forward entries were poor.
3 direct turnover goals from kick ins.
Harry's yips.
Sydney players ducking for forward 50 frees.
Quiet games from Cripps and Owies.
Not much impact from Motlop.

We play our best footy when half our side is missing. For some reason it tends to get worse when we are closer to a full side...haha.

We Won the Game YES, but we did not play the Carlton way... We were too nervous and gave up easy Goals.

We are no match for Melbourne if we play the same way.. We need to lift and go back to our non stop pressure Game!

I just hope we get the Melbourne from last night. Despite the 7pt loss they were dreadful.
