I'm lucky enough to be in ballot. 44 year member . Think I've paid my dues.
Question If anyone knows how do they get the cvc number of credit card as there is no option to save that number on ya ticketek account

Apparently they just make an additional charge to the ballot charge, so you don’t need to save your cc in your Ticketek account.

Sec 207 Row G, Lower level. Forward pocket near the Carlton Cheer Squad.
If interested, please send me a PM.
I just saw on Tixel that there over 1000 people wanting tickets.
I will be in Brisbane from noon on Saturday, so could meet to pass on the ticket.
Face value $199, but happy to take less.
Go Blues!

Ticket gone.
Go Blues!

I have a spare ticket for Saturday’s match as my daughter won’t be able to make it to Brisbane this weekend.

If you want it send me a PM, first come first served. I’m only looking to be reimbursed the value of the ticket which was $150.

Section 420, Row UU, Seat 339.

It has been a bit of a debacle over the weekend with Grand final ticketing.
My hubby and daughter got tickets, category 6 so back rows of level 4.
Apparently lots of P1 members missed out and P2 got some tickets, mainly standing room.
It turns out that many of the members who missed out ticked the box not to take standing room tickets. Clubs advised members NOT to tick this box as it waives their guarantee of getting a ticket.
Now Collingwood is going to try to get these members tickets even though it was their fault they missed out.
Lots of complaining about getting the crappy seats and many felt the clubs were not given many category 1 and 2 allocations.
I personnally would be happy to get any seat.

Soooooo after all the whinging and whining it was their own fault they missed out?

I'm sure Collingwood sent the exact same communication we did advising members to say yes, they'd accept standing room.

Perhaps they need to go to the school for kids who can't read good.

I do think if you're Priority 1 then you should be assured of an actual seat, but that's not how the system currently works.

People queued outside the local Ticketek agent for a couple of days in their Collingwood gear.
Is it mean if I find it funny to think they missed out?

The sure-fire of getting a Grand Final ticket has always been to get to the MCG around 11am on the day and spend a good hour looking for the oldest Salvation Army tin rattler you can find. Once identified, you can ask them a question or two - but your main objective is to put a couple of pineapples in the tin. If you're lucky (and accurate), they may (or may not) present you with a ticket. The beauty of it is, you never quite know whether this is an urban myth or you've just selected the wrong old man in uniform and wasted kindly donated $100. Sure, Frank might look 97, but he's only 91. Old Tom (94) near light tower 5 was the answer! It's a bit Where's Wally, it's a little Amazing Race - but 18% of the time it works every time.

*Disclaimer - I've played this game a little too many times to mention and can confirm that... your donation IS tax deductible.

Priority one members paid close to $1000 for a membership that guaranteed them a grand final ticket, but at least 37 of those members missed out when they selected “no standing room” during the registration process and then were allocated standing room tickets only in the ballot.

So, the system sucks and P1 members shouldn't have to get standing room, but they either didn't read the email properly or took a risk in saying no standing room.
It's a guaranteed ticket, not a guaranteed seat.

I had a dream on Friday night that I got a standing room ticket for the GF and I didn't mention it out loud for fear of jinxing the team, haha. Maybe I should have said it!

To the Pies members who've paid a shit load of money for their membership and then didn't tick the standing room option, I can understand why you'd be pissed off. But equally, standing room is better than no ticket, obvs. And with the amount of members they have and the shitfight for tickets in the earlier finals, WTF were they thinking?!
