Not surprised about Charlie. I switched off the tracker at quarter time when we had a 9% score from inside 50, figured it was because they have a great defence and we are missing sos and Harry. How did our forward line fare after quarter time?

Brilliant. Now beaten 3 of Top 4 over last 5 weeks and with many players missing

We are the real deal

In the last 5 weeks we've played 4 teams above us on the ladder.
(Port, Coll, StK, Melb.)

We've won all 4.

Combined score: 348 v 258 (134.9%)

Avg score: 87 v 64.5

Winning form is good form!

There is times in my life that I would say that I have had a like the sliding doors film kinda moment.

After crashing to 1 win from 9 games. I was thinking - maybe this team should have turned right or similar (a very broad and random reference but bear with me)

The supporters and members were going ballistic (and I was one of them).

Sack Voss, our list is flowered etc etc.

Something clicked because we have now won 8 games in a row. Thats, a flowering superhuman transformation of our beloved football club.

One week at a time, but I really believe we supporters should feel comfortable to dare to dream.

I have fallen more in love with this footy club (if thats possible despite the many many years of mediocrity and pain).

Im almost reluctant to say this for the fear of the potential let down, heartbreak which has been instilled from the ghosts of the past, BUT, I am feeling far more confident in saying our team is the REAL DEAL!

Corked calf was the word from the club. No other info yet that I'm aware of.

Had his calf strapped up with what looked like some sort of compression treatment. Hopefully just tightness, at worst a light strain. But with that win we’re locked in for finals and with so many coming back from injury, a week or two wouldn’t be the worst thing for him as long as he’s back for week 1 of finals

He did lift but the thing is that (tap ruck work) is really the only thing he does well. Doesn't get much of it and doesn't kick goals. Doesn't take many marks.

But hey he does hard work in the ruck and let TDK be the more dynamic ruck partner.

Newman was very untidy late. He needs to show more poise in finals assuming we get there.

Jack Martin. Nobody in the comp plays with his
intensity and hardness. Bloody beauty he is.
