Call for contributions and an update

Hi All,

Back in April 2023 we put the call out for contributions for web hosting and you guys were awesome in your response.

Unfortunately funding ran out in July and Camel and I have funded the last two months. As of right now, we still need approximately $100 per month to keep the lights on. I know times are tough but if you can manage a contribution of any size to assist in hosting this site it would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Things are slowly progressing with regards to moving the website to a cheaper host. As you may recall, this site is running on some very old software, software we have to update before we can move. As the software is really old its proven to be a bit of a task. Luckily Headplant has been chipping away at the updates in the background with an expectation that we should be able to fully updated by about November of this year. Thanks Headplant.

We've also discovered some other issues with the site, things that have affected our emails and also Google ad revenue. We are working through those issues and hope to see a little bit of a spike in funds which unfortunately have dropped from over $200 per month at its peak, down to about $8 per month. :cry:

Yeah camel and I play the long game for this scam... 20 years early next year. 26 Feb 2005 we built this site!

Unfortunately not tax deductible.

Just transferred, my bank can't verify your details and is suggesting it maybe a scam, so funds may not transfer for 24 hours.

Not sure if it counts as a scam if you scam yourself in the same deal, haha. I barely read the site these days. :razz:
