Am Damn sick and tired of Rd 1 being Bitchmond!

Doesn't tell you where you are from the get go,
and you're suddenly down 4 points already.

Can we do a petition or something to get this changed?
It's ridiculous.

And how do we do that, has the same answer, the question how could we have beaten them this year?

Don't give them 42 point head start!

Better still don't give them easy goals.

I'm more sick of people forgetting that people used to laugh at Richmond after the R1 game. And it's not like we've ever been that great in recent years.

It's true, we're on a 10-game losing streak against them and our most recent win against them was the Elimination Final in 2013, while our most recent R1 win was 2012.

But we also had a 9-game winning streak against them from R14 2008 through to R18 2012, which included 4 R1 fixtures.

To get through on 'Plan B' we need:
- Freo to beat Melb. in Cairns tonight - hopefully Dees can't handle the FNQ heat.
- Adelaide to beat GWS tomorrow - with home ground advantage and a win under the belt may come good.

Exactly, I remember the annual pisstake, thought it was a longer stretch than that TBH! And given Richmond's penchant for ramping up to a September peak, we should relish the opportunity to face them in March/April. Keep the fixture where it is and let's get our shit together.
