Yes, 2010–2019.
2020 is the last year of this decade

I know moshe and the millennium didn't start until 2001. But this is how most people roll on decades.
Got that right. And most people don't count their first anything as their zeroth. First anything is number 1. So 10th is number 10 (NOT number 9).
So..... that's two things I agree with kk about.

Computers start counting at 0 (i.e. the code and the processors that run them)
This isn't about counting, it's about years. There was no year 0. The first year in AD was 1, preceded by 1 BC.
This isn't opinion based, it's mathematics. The first year was 1, the tenth was 10, the hundredth was 100, and so on.
1 is the first Natural Number. Zero is an integer and is between -1 and +1 on the integer line, but zero isn't part of the (infinite) sequence of Natural Numbers (also known as counting numbers).
A century goes from the first year (eg 2001) to the hundredth year (eg 2100). When you turned 9 you hadn't lived 10 years had you? You'd lived NINE years. You had to wait till your TENTH birthday to have lived for 10 years.
